I like Budweiser and I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. So suck it. ?? +1 Intellectuals and their fancy "micro-brews" and "IPAs" $30 for a 12 pack? lol go fuck yourself. lol, you guys are hating on good beer - is that it? That might be most unmanly think i've seen on here. I pay about 20-25$ for six of good beer. It's worth every dollar... unless you're looking to down 4-5 and get your glow on, then to each his own i suppose. Come to the dark side.

No, hating on the uppity faggots who thumb their noses at people who don't mind cheap, decent beer. And sipping on 2-3 beers like a middle aged housewife and then calling it quits? THAT might be the most unmanly thing I've heard of. I've never once drank alcohol for the taste of it. It's always been for the effect. Would I drink beer if there was no alcohol in it? Hell no, would rather reach for a pepsi, iced tea or even water.

What sixer are you getting that is $20-$25 consistently that isn't something rare? Or are you just rounding up with tax and deposit on a $15 six pack.

Is it true that you don't even have Fosters in Australia? We have Fosters but it's hard to get as it's very unpopular here. I've never drunk any. Do you eat blooming onions, like they have at Outback Restaurant? BTW, my daughter is living in Melbourne, are there any nice Jewish boys there?

I do however, have 1 beer every night, 2-3 on the weekends (kids do that to you). If you haven't drank beer for the taste of it, then you're not doing it right. I wouldn't drink it for the taste either if I was drinking bud. That shit is pig-swill... unless you're getting wrecked then, then yea whatever. Busch, Bud, etc But yea, cheap beer is not decent. You're just not exposing yourself to quality shit. PLUS, the good stuff is usually (my preference anyway) about 6.8%-10%, so you're getting a better bang for you buck.

I drank a Coors Light last Thursday while wearing my new hipster glasses that I bought as a mid-life crisis present to myself after turning 40 last week. Hopefully I can avoid the wrath of JoeSixPack. And btw a 12 pack of Dogfish 60 in Delaware is $15 with no tax or deposit.

There's lots we could talk about, but for the sake of brevity, this is my go to for casually drinking: if you haven't had the pleasure, start now. So fucking good it makes me cry. beyond that, i'm a really big fan of Belgian "trappist" beer, made by Monks. Yes, that's a real thing. And yes it's the best in the world (empirically it's true). There's about 6-7 different kinds and they range from $5-6 a bottle, to $12-15... Please, for your own sake, give this stuff a go

Never had the latter so I'll check it out. And yes I see you were referring to the semi "rare" beers or at least getting bombers instead of 12 ounce. I was going to say... even Ballast Point is only ~15 for a 6 pack. Something makes me smile knowing real life monks slaved over my beer.

Love it to death I shoulda clarified we're talking CAD$ so id say 12-18 a six is pretty average for what I'm willing to spend for quality. Lot of it doesn't come in 6'ers. If you can't find any Trappist stuff (will always have the Trappist stamp) find the golden draak. 10% dark and malty - and tastes like sex.

Rochefort is one of the best. The 8 is wonderful. Yeah I've had a bunch of Innis. Never had the latter so I'll check it out. One of the best, it's like the little brother to this: Which can only be bought in Belgium at the monastery/brewery or on the black market. It is indeed the best in the world

It is indeed the best in the world I've had (and still got 4 bottles left) 2 cases of the infamous "Westvleteren 12" widely considered to be the best beer in the world. They had roof cave-in or something a few years ago needed the extra dough, so they exported their stuff for a couple months... steep however $80/six-pack. Fucking amazing though. next to Chimay's 150th anniversary edition last year, it's the best i've had.
