Thanks for bumping. Every year reading this ... brings back all the memories and emotions of that day for many of us.

I knew Vinnie...RIP i lived right next door to them on Bay 7 th st.. I guess u knew Vinnie from ur Cantor days. Everyone on the block(which is named after them)loved their grandfather Teddy.. will never forget them...

I remember walking across a bridge over the Chicago River that Tuesday morning headed to work in the loop. As I walked along from the train station it was a perfect fall morning. It all went to shit not much later. On the way home much later that evening, I remember the deserted Chicago streets. I caught a ride home with a co-worker and two things I remember were Chicago's deserted streets and no airplanes flying.
