Obviously winning the fucking game is a good place to start.... but beyond that, what do you need to see tonight to settle some of the nerves, concerns and general pessimism?
I'll start by saying that above anything, the jets need to command control of the clock/ball for 4 quarters. No momentum swinging, no botched 4th downs. No quarter that sees buffalo control field position. To me that is more important than just an improved showing by our secondary.
I have NOT seen one complete game of competent football in the Bowles era. I want 4 fucking quarters tonight.

I want to see us protect the football.
Get the running game goin early so we don't have to make Fitz force throws, when he does bad things happen.
Get off the field on 3rd down and not give up big plays through the air.
No mistakes on ST.
Increase RZ efficiency.

The white facemasks won me over.
The rest is just gravy.
Honestly, I'd like to see Fitz complete over 60% of his passes, at least a 3:1 TD to turnover ratio for him, I'd like to see every catchable ball caught, I'd like to see ONE bomb completed, more targets for Decker and for Forte and Powell to continue to shine.

I'd like to see Bowles use a time-out when he should. Sadly I think that's asking too much so I'm looking for the Dline to continue to dominate. It would be nice if Mauldin could make some plays and at least one of JMarshall, Peake, or Anderson with a break out game.

Honestly they can't really do anything tonight to change my stance that they are simply a .500 team this year. Maybe if Fitz throws up a 23-29 325 3TD game it could signify that maybe he won't revert back to his journeyman ways, but other than that I'm not sure anything will change my thinking based on tonight's game.

Making some game plan adjustments according to what they see happening on the field. Like not watching the same bubble screen over and over for s short gain

There's nothing they can do tonight. Burned too many times over the many years to get excited about this team over one game - any dominance tonight is nothing but a tease until they can do it consistently. As far as I'm concerned, a win tonight is a lock just so they can string us along for a few more weeks.
They don't need to worry about winning me over, but if they want to, 3-1 going into the Pittsburgh game will do it. That's about the only way I can get excited about this bunch like I have in the past.

I wanna see Forte and Powell jam it up Rex's asshole for 4 straight quarters so we don't have to rely on Fitz pulling magic out of his ass.
Powell has been a big play waiting to happen since the midway point of last season. So how about giving him more than 5-6 fucking touches the entire game?

Just kill the unforced errors. Blown coverages, pre-snap penalties, poor route running. Play a clean game. If you lost it's simply because the other team squared up and beat you.
But still, don't fucking lose.
