I thought it was really, really good. He seems like an amazing human being. As great as he was as a football player, he is an even better person. I was personally impacted by his views on forgiveness.

Just watched it on Gamepass. Great stuff. The opening segment about his grandmother was truly shocking and extremely sad. An amazing story of triumph over adversity. When he was on the Jets and playing through two high ankle sprains when everyone around him was astounded by his pain tolerance, I remember him saying in an interview that whenever he thinks about the pain, he thinks about the pain his grandmother endured when stabbed multiple times and left to die after a burglary, and simply tells himself that his pain is meaningless compared to what she went through. But, he did not mention the stuff about the burglar continuingly telling her he was going to have to kill her when he was done so there would be no witnesses despite her pleading for her life and telling him that he can take anything he wants. Truly heartbreaking. "Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars." Khalil Gibran

My wife taped it for me. I married well. She was a fringe Jets fan when we met. Now she is a diehard! How could you do that to her? Your an abuser. Worse than beating ur wife is making her a jets fan! That's Torture. U disgust me :-)

Since they began, all of the Football Life episodes have been very good.
It's an excellent series.
