A couple of positives...
1. At least the Jets are consistent. They can't go more than a year or two with some success. They always revert....like the hour hand of a clock coming back to 12.
2. As fans, we're well-conditioned for this. We're heading back to our safe place....our comfort zone.....seeing a team we recognize once again.
I have 3 authentic Jets jerseys that I wear. One is Joe Klecko, another is Namath, the last is Curtis Martin. The reason I wear jerseys of guys who are no longer with the team is because they're not around to fuck it up. Their success is etched in stone. I'm about to add my 4th jersey....a custom one. Instead of a number it will have the symbol for infinity. Instead of a name it will say FUTILITY. This jersey, like the others, will stand the test of time.
