So we lose only a 6th round pick? What a waste. Idzik's imprint will be felt here for a while.

Is this one of those things that happened, or one of those things you think happened?
Women.

OK let me be clear it's a question. What do you think will happen to William Percival Harvin III now that the wonderful GM who brought him in after the season was lost and paid $7M for him for half a season and at least a 6th round pick, is GONE. ?

Serious question - Does Percy Harvin make me look fat?

Serious question - Does Percy Harvin make me look fat? I don't know but the important thing here is that he doesn't make me look fat

The new front office are likely not going to make a decision of Harvin immediately, they have no compunction to.
They will may wait to the draft and see what happens before making a decision on Harvin. I would be very surprised if they do not ask him to take a pay cut at some point. When he refuses, they will cut him but leave the door open on a return at a lower price while Percy sees what the market will bear for a talented but injury prone receiver.

They can't wait until the draft. If he's still on the roster come March, then his 2015 salary is guaranteed.

I stand corrected, that said I don't see them keeping him at 10 million and I don't think Harvin will accept a paycut

Compunction junction, what's your function?

I find this trend of using plural verb form with singular nouns very peculiar.

But with new management coming in, they may want to cut him loose, gain an additional $10.5 mill against the gap (bringing us to over $60 million to play with) and only have to part with a 6th rounder.
