The Kurds are the white hats now? They are the PKK -- The Kurdistan Workers Party --- designated as a Terrorist Organization. They bomb and shoot and kill women and children inside Turkey's borders. This is why the Turks don't want them on their border. Are the Turks (as in their government) wonderful people? No. But neither are the Kurds (as in their ruling organization). They've got an axe to grind with each other. Neither wears a white hat in this imbroglio. They both wear grey hats.
Just becasue we armed the Kurds to fight their enemy -- ISIS -- which also happened to be our enemy (but seriously who wasn't an enmey of ISIS), doesn't mean we owe them anything. We're either even or they owe us becasue ISIS would have killed many more of them without our help.
And as to the Kurds, they are an ethnic group that lives in Turkey, Syria and Iraq. What do they want? Their own country. We can't do that for them and if we ever want to provide any assistance in brokering some sort of peace deal between the Kurds, Turks, and Syrians, we can't take sides. Our position has to be the message of STOP killing each other. And that is precisely the position Trump has taken.
We need to take money we've been spending on War and keep it at home. There are better ways to spend money.
As for the money list, I get what you are saying but I think the important one is the tax cuts one. Spending on education hasn't shown a but of improvement in education and that should be the point there. What is seems to do is add more administrators which doesn't help the kids at all.
I think the most important one wasn’t listed which is just not borrow that amount since we are already at a deficit
