maybe he doesn't want to be a GM. maybe he has more fun doing what he's doing now. maybe he finds it less stressful, and thus encourages him to avoid any future rumblings with alcohol.

McCloughan sounds like a great scout but that the GM responsibilities may be too much for him. I'm sure he's just too big a question mark for Woody to take a chance on at this point. Maybe he would be considered for a personnel job, it sounds like he wants that, Maybe the next GM can bring him on board as the head of personnel. The biggest void on the Jets for years. espn.go.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/12014699/scot-mccloughan-nfl-best-talent-scout-self-employed-living-farm

Understand that maybe he doesn't want to be a GM, but at the very least they should contact him to gauge his interest. If we somehow get Gamble as the GM, maybe he can be talked into joining the team as the Head Scout which wouldn't carry as much pressure. Gotta say some prayers lol...

I said Gamble, because of his ties with him at 49ers. But he also has ties with Seattle, so maybe Trent Kirchner might ask him to come along as well...

Jets interviewing Mueller on Sunday, Maccagnan on Monday I am liking the idea of Mueller a lot. Lots of great talent evaluators and player personnel types have come out of philly.

Free Mueller. Seriously, who's Mueller and how do you guys know about so many GM candidates? And why? Just curious.

Where did you see that? Ballard is KC right? Don't know Grier.

"The fagtriots gave him his first full time job" that is hilarious!
Anyways I really like these candidates that Cass-Wolf have put together. It is really refreshing to see and I think we are trending in the right direction. Ballard would be my #1 choice now followed by Mueller and Kirchner.
