We have about 4 inches here in Central NC. The ice will keep the place pretty closed down. They do not plow subdivisions here for some reason so even though the main roads are ok we often cannot get to them. This should be our only snow fall of the year. One of the reasons I moved. Crowd, expense, schmucky people and traffic were the others. Gonna turn on the fire place and watch football all day.

About 6" in Clarence NY, about 30" 15 miles south of me.
Lake snow hammering down off of Lake Erie.
Even lake Ontario is like a snow machine...we get the effects of both.
Pretty cool.

We were spared the snow this weekend in Illinois, but below zero temperatures, combined with my furnace going out on Friday made for a rough day. Got down to about 50 degrees in the house before they got it fixed.

I just went out in my bare feet and undies to take my morning piss in the snow. That's how I like to wake up.

I would but then I'd need ot be outside next to the fire pit. It is 14 degrees now. I prefer to be inside. The builder installed a gas only fireplace. It is my one regret in the entire house. Well I guess I would rather have the screened deck be bigger and had a 6 burner double oven stove. First world probs

About a 1/2 inch of pretty snow yesterday, and then a 1/2" of freezing rain last night and they say another 1/2" of freezing rain before it warms up tomorrow sometime late morning. The roads are bad.
Hillsboro OR.

First world probs Anytime I look at buying a house the first thing I look at is the size of the fireplace.... so your complaint has just been validated. Best of luck. It's cold as a witches tit out there.
