He's probably a better coach than Bowles, but it's the players he's given too. Our team has next to no talent. Old receivers and rb, garbage o-line, a d-line that didn't give a shit, a bunch of 3rd string qb's, and a pathetic secondary. Give those players to Quinn and he's sitting at home right now. I don't think our defense is the problem the offense has been so neglected that's it's forcing the defense to be out on the field wearing them down. The Jets have to use most of this year's draft to get a weapon in the first get some OL in the remaining rounds with another QB. I'm hoping for Fournette, Cook or Mike Williams. Unfortunately they will go defense again. It was certainly a problem. We could not stop the run the pass or get off the field on 3rd downs. The offense certainly sucked more but the D cannot escape blame here. The entire team sucked monkey balls and so did the CS. The only real positive is that we might have found a few gems in our young WR and a potential Oline guy for the future, if, big if, the CS can develop a player.

Funny, just last season conventional wisdom was the opposite.

Sure helps having an mvp quarterback Sure, but he's completely turned around that defense while Bowles has ran ours straight into the ground. True, if you consider still having one of the worst defenses in the NFL a turnaround.

All I know is they couldn't pressure the QB to save their lives before Quinn came on board. Certainly not the case anymore. And that's not just because of Beasley. Guys like Brooks Reed, Babineaux, Campbell, Jarrett, etc have all stepped up.

It,s amazing what an impact pass rusher can do to make the players around him more noticeable.

It sure looks like it, rather than sleepy Bowles. Quinn and Falcons getting it done against Green Bay, 31 - 0, 3rd quarter. Some distinct differences, one of which is Atlanta has a franchise QB.

Their Defense is night and day better. And they hit now. FUCK the Jets.

Dimitroff and Shanahan are the stars in Atlanta.
Rex Ryan made 2 consecutive AFC title games due to a great roster.
Quinn is going to the SB on the power of his roster and his OC, not is skill as a head coach.

Stats didn't get them to a SB I don't know what that means, but neither did their defense. The Packers defense did.

Quinn stepped into a very good situation. The Falcons have a franchise QB and a GM who is actually good. Quinn would have been average here, everything else remaining equal.
