So..the jackarse realized he had pulled into cross-traffic against the signal..then backs up without looking into the poor guys bike? Jeebus. That could have been worse though... Funny...not the same thing but...I was stuck for an hour on the LIE yesterday...and a bunch of bikes passed me cutting though the traffic...The smart ones had loud pipes and were pumping the throttle so you couldnt miss them approaching...the dumb ones had quiet jap bikes that virtually snuck up in your blind spot. "Loud pipes save lives" in a nutshell... While very obnoxious in tons of circumstances, in heavy traffic loud pipes are a great safety tool. I used to have obscenely loud pipes which I was ashamed of going through a small quaint town...and hearing all the car alarms go off behind me because of the shock wave of everyone piston explosion.
