FYI Father Geoghan was murdered in jail. Confusing...how does get a pension when one is dead? And wouldn't he already have received his signing bonus? Anyhoo...if true, I assume his fiancee won't get it, it will be used to support his 2 year old daughter under someone's supervision.

I tried to look up the rules on the NFL pension, but there's not much out there. Regarding money his contract with the Patriots I found this on wiki

I can only guess some signing bonuses are spread over a few years to lessen the cash hit on a team? I dunno.

Sounds like it. I always thought they got it all upfront. Could just mean he was paid the full signing bonus, which the team could seek to recoup from the estate if he was convicted and now they can't. As far as the pension, there's probably a clause that it's for a set number of years and would be paid to his heirs in the event of his death. All of the above is merely conjecture, not fact.

Are we sure it is suicide? He was probably killed by Belidick because he was going to talk about the true Patriot way for clemency. Brady destroying his cellphone as we speak. Multiple texts on it from a team employee known as "the hangman". You know, on account of his fondness for just "hanging" with the players. So much win here. The Hangman.....just likes to hang with players. The Defaltor.....is just a guy trying to lose weight. Oh, these tricky New England equipment managers!

So the rumor is Hernandez was found with 3:16 scrawled in blood and blood was smeared on the walls.
That to me hints he was murdered in his cell.
And for that I applaud his fellow inmates.
I only hope they made this piece of shit beg for his life and cry like the little bitch that he was.
Seriously beg and cry and made him suffer.
The fucking piece of shit bitch.

Wow. Fun crowd. Forgive so you may be forgiven. I blame Easter Eggs sorry Confusing...how does get a pension when one is dead? And wouldn't he already have received his signing bonus? There are plans where you can choose to have your pension continue after your death, in exchange for lesser monthly payments while living. Dont know if this miscreant was smart enough to take it or if she qualifies as a non-married survivor. Just more victims of this despicable monster.

Yes Mrs. FF2 will face this question at retirement, take larger sum for her only, assuming I'll die first, or smaller that will pay either of us. I doubt the girlfriend gets anything.
