Tony Pauline gives us a B draftanalyst.com/grading-draft-afcNew York Jets: People were surprised the team took safeties Jamal Adams in the first and Marcus Maye in the second. I wasn’t. Maye perfectly complements Adams and the team should be set at safety for the next 10 years. Chad Hansen, Jordan Leggett and Elijah McGuire were all good value. Grade: B I think a B is fair. When you need everything it is hard not to have a good draft on paper. Hopefully the grade stays that way when the rubber meets the road. "Set at safety for the next 10 years." Heard that line a few years ago.

With them taking the wide receivers and the tight end, and considering the young receivers they've retained, the issue is, who is gonna throw it to them. Cimini and several others are saying that After passing on QBs, Jets' focus shifts to Christian Hackenberg. So we'll see. Let's face it. We know virtually nothing about the guy. Everything we've heard is rumor. But we do know that they didn't go for a QB in the draft ... that Fitz and Geno are gone ... and we've seen Petty. So it may be interesting. www.espn.com/blog/new-york-jets/post/_/id/68525/after-passing-on-qbs-jets-focus-shifts-to-christian-hackenbergAnd if the Jets had drafted a QB....all of the local hacks would have been screaming about drafting ANOTHER QB!

Even their HC, John Fox, is apparently pissed that he was left in the dark about the trade up until just hours before the pick.

Trading up for a guy that started 13 games. Geez.

The Bears debacle was a once-in-a-decade type blunder. Unless Trubisky wins them a SB in which case nobody will give a shit what they gave up.
Gun to my head, they are all getting fired.

Apparently Trubisky got booed by the crowd at the United Center when he was introduced before the game. Also, on draft night, the Bears invited Mike Glennon to their Draft Party at Soldier Field. He was in the Club Level mingling with fans when he found out -- same time as the fans, that the Bears were selecting Trubisky. Apparently Glennon is not a real happy Bear right now.

Swap Maye for Cook and it would've been a great draft. Maybe take a CB in the 5th instead of Donahue aswell.
I know we are gonna suck this year but I'm actually excited to see Hack and these young players develop.

That definitely is ugly. reminds one of the time gave Sanchez a new contract, pat him on the back and then bring in two more quarterbacks. They've got more to figure out the the Jets do.
