So, after week 1 Allen has clearly moved to the back of the pack. But, unless I missed someone, it does appear that the remaining candidates for the Jets #1 overall selection in the 2018 draft all performed well, even though most played against week 1 patsies. But, you only get to play the team that happens to be on your schedule that week.
Just finished catching up with Lamar Jackson's game...
Considering where he was 2 years ago - it's unbelievable... He's not just another athlete playing QB. That ball comes out on fire. It's laughable IMO that people auto-place Allen ahead of Jackson. If Rosen fails to put it together in his campaign this year - it's going to be a Darnold/Jackson duel
I just watched Allen's game against Iowa yesterday and it was not where near as bad as the scoreboard scouts are making it out to be. His picks came when the game was out of hand already and his receivers dropped a bunch of passes, including a beautiful 40 yard TD.
One thing that worried me about Allen was his arm strength didn't look as strong as it did yesterday. I wonder if he is playing injured.
