ok...what part or parts are almost? IS IT REALLY MADE IN THE USA? We take great pride in our American heritage, and 100% of the American Badass Charcoal Grill is proudly manufactured and assembled right here in the USA. The American Badass Gas Grill is made in the USA of primarily domestic components. We’re not going to lie to you; we have to say “primarily” because there are 2 components that are currently manufactured overseas: the propane regulator and gas tube. We have looked high and low — and are still looking — for a US manufacturer for these pieces. (If you are a manufacturer of propane burner tubes and regulators and can provide high quality for a fair price, contact us at MadeinUSA@abaproductsllc.com) You should move to Russia. You do not like whites or Americans. The guy is trying to do the right thing here and you shit on him for 2 measly little parts he cannot find in the USA. I always thought you were the type of kid I beat up and stole his lunch money. Now you really confirmed it.

The fact that this grill only has two components from China is amazing. Frank Reynolds - Weber's are shit now. All made in China with garbage weak 430 Chinese steel, rather than 304 which is what classic Weber's were made of. Anything less than 30 years old is no better than your average Char Broil and it wouldn't surprise me if the two were made in the same factory with different nameplates.

(If you are a manufacturer of propane burner tubes and regulators and can provide high quality for a fair price, contact us at MadeinUSA@abaproductsllc.com) this is a common problem. so much of u.s. manufacturing has been driven overseas that there are certain components that you simply can't find an american source. my business partnered with walmart on their initiative to bring jobs back to the u.s., and to qualify as "made in the u.s.a. (which was necessary for any vendor to have a shot at doing business with walmart), oftentimes the bar for qualification was just that all the parts of the final product were assembled in the u.s.a. and yeah, much of it has to do with obama making it fucking next to impossible to run a small-to-midsize business in the u.s., coupled with offshoring. trump slashing regulations is a huge step in the right direction, but if he fucks with tariffs that's gonna blow up in his face. but yeah, mock people at least trying to do the right thing. it's the prog way bro

The only grills i've ever had luck with are webers. Everyone i've owned has lasted. I've got one gas griller, two charcoals, and a weber smokey mountain for ribs and pulled pork. All have been gems for me. I've had them all for years and no problems with any of them. Char broils and the rest of the crap you get at home depot for like $150 is garbage. They look shiny in the store, but rust and fall apart in a year. Never the case with anything weber i've ever bought. You sure weber is made in china now? Consumer reports has them as made in the USA as of 2015. www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2015/05/the-best-gas-grills-made-in-america/index.htm

I bought a Weber genesis in 2009, and it's in excellent condition. Put a grill cover on it, and it'll last a decade easily. I just replaced the burner tubes for the first time this spring. The flavorizer bars are shitty thin gage sheet metal though. I priced out bending some 14 gage 304 to the same dimensions as the original flavorizers, and it was over $200. Bought the replacements for $40, and they'll do until I price out the two different bend options for 14ga stainless.

That's usually the first to go, but it will take years. That and the little ignition buttons where the battery goes. Both cheap and easy to replace. Other than that, those weber gassers are worth every penny.

You see all those 12" kielbasas on the grill? This is just a ploy to get Pamla Anderson back. Common.

It's a similar situation as Kid Rock's grill, except that the majority of Weber components are made in China and assembled here with the "Made me in the USA" tag. Most Weber components are made in China, as are those of 90%+ of all grills. Pellet grill company Grilla was one of the last to manufacture completely in the US but even now they've gone to China. While most US manufacturers have offices in China to oversee quality assurance, we can't compete with the cost of materials and labor. If you want something wholly manufactured in the US, you're going to pay a crazy premium.

They get a pay increase too so we'll get the pick of the litter.
