Did he not play? Didn't notice. He was inactive and did not make the trip with the team.

Totally agreed with Gannon who pointed out that his teammates have to hold him accountable too. There’s only so much the coach can do. Not only is no player getting in his face telling him to get his shit together, they're saying he’s a leader! Thats the challenge with a young team. There's no older vet on defense telling him to get his shit together - he IS the older vet on defense. Its not easy for Williams, or Adams, or Davis or Lee to tell the vet to get his shit together. Hopefully they will.

If the fat fuck is kept out of Sunday's game, and he should be, he is definitely gone. Hopefully his eating disorder develops rapidly.

He's a asset of some value to the team, and though I agree with thios boards sentiment, it is up to Mac to get some sort of something for him rather then simply cutting him. Not sure how Mac would do that with his bloated contract, just sayin.

Emotionally I would like to sit him and to wait to the last possible minute and then cut him, but that doesn't necessarily make good business sense and isn't the type of message I want to send to the rest of the team as it's vindictive. So what if he helps someone win a SB, right?

I would encourage the Jets to do whatever makes good business sense with the fat, lazy, uncaring, dishonest POS. That said, I hope someone is burning the midnight oil in the Jets Front Office thinking of a way to F him over the way he's F'ed the Jets.

So what if he helps someone win a SB, right? First off we're not trading him for anything, he will be cut just before the deadline when his guarantees kick in next year. He has zero trade value with his contract. Secondly we have done just what you said this past offseason by fucking Decker and Harris as late season cuts. It is what it is and it's one of the multitude of reasons that we should fire both of these clowns.

Trade him for a 5.
Or a 6.
Anything we could use in a trade.

Someone convince me that Mac should survive this.
So far all he has done is vie for a playoff spot with a plethora of cash left behind for him by a gun-shy GM. Drafted two duds at QB, extended Wilkerson, let Snacks go, and Leo is no longer looking like a sure thing. Yeah, I said it. Heard it here first.

We have had the absolute worst GM in the league for what feels like forever - idzik and now Macc. He needs to go. Wasted picks, lack of courage in the draft, boneheaded wrong big ticket signings, contracts to old washed up QBs, etc etc etc - this team is a awful up and down and it’s Macc’s fault.

And he looks like a fucking idiot. If you're reading the media on potential Giants' GM candidates you see so much against hiring a first time guy. When Brian Costello asked him what he saw in Hackenberg, what possessed him to use a number two on him, the guy could not answer him. Costello said that he said virtually nothing ... he mumbled unintelligibly ... the only thing he replied that came out somewhat clearly was something about Hackenberg's father being a coach. Yes ... Maccagnan has the face of a fucking idiot.
