WRs are made better by the QB. We'll see who we get. I would argue the opposite is true - great WRs make a QB look great. Now change my username back to my true feelings about this nitemare franchise - jetrepulsion1 forever!!!! :-) thank u. Yeah, Wes Welker, Danny Amendola, and Julian Edelman all made that worthless and shitty Brady guy look all-world alright. 🙄 And for the record, I didn't change your name.

I'm skeptical of signing the guy, not because of his lack of talent but because the Jets just got rid of a lazy sack of shit who took the money and ran. If the guy wants to play up to his abilities, I have no problem with bringing him in and paying him fairly. However, I'd sit him down and explain that in very blunt terms and structure any contract accordingly so he can prove himself. If he doesn't like that, show him the door.

Terrelle Pryor agrees to terms on deal with Jets I haven't seen the terms of his contract yet but he was likely a reasonable signing coming off injury and a lackluster season. Sometimes it's good when a guy wants to stick around and has something to prove. He may of been a flash in the pan but I saw him play a couple of times and he was a gamer. It will be a crowded Jets WR room at camp. No reason not to bring in some competition and push people for their jobs.

Thomas Rawls signed. We'd better not move out Powell.
Travis Swanson visited today also. Could push Long to LG and Carpenter off the team?

Swanson. Visited yesterday and no report of him signing yet. If he leaves without signing or he’s gone already, he won’t sign.

Haven’t heard what the deal for Swanson was but I doubt they overpaid for him. He had concussions the last two years although he said that he didn’t have a concussion last year but rather side effects of medication the Lions gave him for a potential concussion. If healthy, he will battle to be a starter or is at least a quality backup.
This is from CBS:
Swanson, who ended the 2017 season on injured reserve, claims he did not suffer a concussion, CBS Detroit reports.
Swanson claims he didn't actually suffer a concussion but had a bad reaction to medicine he was given to treat a potential concussion. When he stopped taking the medicine, Swanson said he no longer experienced any concussion-like symptoms. Considering he also suffered a concussion in 2016 and is set to become an unrestricted free agent, it's evident he wants teams to know he doesn't have a history of serious head injuries -- something that could hamper his ability to land a new deal.

I don’t think so. I think Swanson is more of a depth signing. He’ll be our backup center and possibly move to guard.

Fucking big pharm POISION what a surprise. Color me shocked. I can't BELIEVE it! This damn country needs to stand the fuck up NOW to these cocksuckers. Medical cannabis is ALL that is needed, and for brain, maybe even a little psilosibin. NO side effects. NO BULLSHIT.

I imagine Swanson and Harrison will duke it out for backup center and guard spots. Be surprised if they both make the 53 man.

Spencer Long isn't really known for being healthy through a full season. Having a plan B & C is better than just have plan B & having to resort to practice squad players after. We have all cap in the world to maintain versatile players.
