The Colts seem to be pretty happy with the deal, insinuating the Jets overpaid to move up. There are no sure things but I give Mac credit for having the balls to do pull the trigger. Only time will tell but I have a good feeling. Darnold is still very young and will turn 21 sometime this year it will be interesting how he handles it. Rosen seems more mature. Mayfield is cocky which I kind of like. I can remember an old clip about a reporter asking Namath if he will feel any pressure about his big contract. True to form, Joe smiled and answered: “I kind of like Pressure.” Allen to me is a wild card with huge upside and downside as well. Pick wisely Jets.

Just an after thought after moving up to #3 and grabbing a top QB. I don’t see Bridgewater or McCown liking being inactive on game days and I hope whoever the Jets draft is game ready. I don’t see the Jets doing the 3QB thing again on game day. Maybe I’m wrong but I think either Bridgewater or MCCown won’t be there opening day.

l think the jets should try to swap picks with the giants. This would gaurentee the bills or broncos cant jump in front of us and take our guy. And then giants can still take barkely. It would be a Win win Ok in theory but what are you willing to give up to make that move? Last year, Bears moved from 3 to 2. Gave up their 3 and 4 last year plus a 3 this year to move up the one slot. Its doable, but I really do not want to give up 6 picks in these two drafts.

Assumptions from analysts are that the Jets will wait to play who they draft until after the trade deadline. It all depends on how good Teddy looks in camp & if they can boost his value enough to trade him to a QB needy team (especially a team that has a QB injury) or we play Teddy most of the season, tag & trade him or let him go & get a 2020 comp pick.

I think he'll be gone 2 right after Darnold just watch It’s Rosen he wants i’m convinced, if the Giants take him and we end up with sloppy USC seconds it’s time to riot. Giants taking Rosen... Tisch in love with Rosen...

Best case scenario is Bridgewater looks good in training camp and we can flip him for a pick -- especially if someone's QB goes down in camp.

This trade is basically daring the Bills to move to 2. They'd have to trade both 1st rd picks, both 2nds & most likely a 1st next year. It's not like they have a pick in the top 10. Giants have all the leverage. If the Bills are fine with that, then so be it. Go trade to 2. I actually think the Giants would ask fro Shady in the deal. 2 1sts, 2 2nds & Shady McCoy. If not, we get out 1A QB. If they trade to 2, they lose even more assets than us & people can talk shit about them at that time while we get our 1B.

I hear the pressure is on for the Giants to select Barkley if there. They want to have a RB to match up with Zeke out in Dallas. New regime wants to see what they have in Webb & supposedly, Giants like Lamar Jackson in round 2 if he lasts. A lot can happen in a month and change though, so let's see. It's funny how the mocks always change weekly for most people then the draft comes and it's usually the top 2 or 3 it was around combine. I think it's going Darnold 1, then Barkley 2. Jets just solidified it.

Well, I am pumped now! MacCagnan finally showing some balls to go get the QB. Now he just has to make the right choice lol. I have to say though, it was amazing to see how many idiots on Twitter were slamming the Jets for this trade, making the typical stupid Jets jokes, saying how the Colts hosed us, etc... I think it's pretty obvious the Colts had a trade on the table with Buffalo and Mike was like hold my beer bruh, we got work to do. I would rather not have given up the 2 next year if we had to include both this year, but fuck it, that's the cost of doing business. Securing a franchise QB was by far the most important thing for the offseason. Bravo Mike. How is it that the Bills with two numbers ones couldn't get this done...

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking also. They would much rather stay in the top 10 and draft 6th than fall out of the top 10. At 6 they’ll probably still get the guy they want while adding 3 2nd rounders.

So Jets sign McCown and tell him hes #1 going into the season....then immediately after trade up to pick 3rd. Wonder if he thinks he's still starting. Lol. I think that story is a load of shit. I think they probably told him they considered him the starter going into camp. Obviously no guarantees were made. Probably came from some tool like WoManish.

Securing a franchise QB was by far the most important thing for the offseason. Bravo Mike. How is it that the Bills with two numbers ones couldn't get this done... Unless the Bills were willing to go crazy to outbid us, using the draft value chart, the Jets had more to offer. We are very close to even with the Bills in terms of draft value. Our 1st pick (6) is worth more than their first pick (12). Our first two picks (6 & 37) are worth more than their first two picks (12 & 22). Even our first three are worth more than their first three & our first four are worth more than their first four. The Bills had to be willing to out bid us by adding more and more to their bid. Obviously there came a point where there would not outbid us. Also, now the Colts have the 6th pick. I think they keep it. But if one of the big 4 QBs is still on the board, they could possibly still trade out of the pick to one of the QB needy teams that wants to move up for a QB and make another killing.
