I'd take a QB at 1 and 4 if I was the Browns. I'm only half kidding. They've sucked for so long and if they miss with the first pick they're fucked. Flip the guy you don't want next year for a 1 or a 2.

Apparently some sports guy made that comment as well. 2 shots to try & get it right.
Would never happen though.

Schefter said that basically none of the GMs in the league thought Rosen was the best QB. Funny how almost nobody thinks Rosen will go in the first or second pick. Listen, he may turn out to be a good QB. Or he may suck ass. Same goes for the other 3. And as I have said before, not one person here doesn’t suck at player evaluation. Not one! Everyone loves to go back and talk about the players they wanted that turned out good but fail to mention the players they liked that sucked ass. People like to over analyze things. Rosen is by far the best, and most natural passer in this draft and pretty much every analyst agrees. The knocks on Rosen have nothing to do with his performance or play on the field. The knocks are that he's injury prone ( which is bullshit), that he's not likeable and that he questions things and pushes the coaching staff (because he wants to achieve greatness.) They attack his character because they can't attack his game.

So if #1 pans out he would probably get a 1 next year for the #4 pick. At worst he would get a 2d rounder. If #1 busts he's screwed. I don't know if I would do it as a GM but I'd think hard about it. If I was the owner I might tell the GM to do it.

Well there's the lack of the sports gene that most Jewish folks will acknowledge. They excel in whining when injured but the book of jewish sports stars is pretty slim. Just sayin'

EXACTLY This has to come into play in the decision. Wont bitch about Rosen if hes the Jets choice, but good God, how many oft injured college players end up not oft injured in the pros? In 3 years as a starter in college he had 1 shoulder injury, and 2 concussions. I think the injury history is completely overblown. Everyone makes a huge deal about rosens concussions. But how come nobody wants to mention that Mayfield also had 2 concussions in the final 3 games of his 2015 season. Rosen is injury riddled because one time he landed on his shoulder awkwardly and had to miss a handful of games. Got it. Josh Rosen is the best qb in this draft by far. Jets would make a huge mistake if he's available and they pass on him. Hey mister...you better stop making sense...there's a time and place for that.

Maybe Mayfield will be great. Who knows? Still, I think that if Darnold and/or Rosen are still on the board when we're on the clock, we're overthinking it if we take Mayfield. Maybe Mayfield will succeed despite his limitations and the fact that he has a higher learning curve than the others when it comes to adjusting to a pro-style offense. But why take the guy with limitations if any of the guys without limitations are still available?
I really hope the Browns take Mayfield, because I'd rather that they take the chance that he'll succeed in spite of his limitations. If he does, and if he leads the Browns to a Super Bowl, then I'll tip my cap to him. I'd rather take my chances with a Darnold or Rosen, who I think are easier to project as future top-10 NFL QBs.
If the Giants keep their pick and don't take a QB, then we're going to have a chance to get Darnold, Rosen, or possibly our choice of either of them.
If our choice is between Mayfield or Rosen, if we pick Mayfield, we'll probably have to get used to going up against Rosen twice a year, because the Bills will trade up and get him. So, it goes virtually without saying that we really NEED to be right with this pick later tonight.
