Lol what a dumb post. Zero empirical evidence back any of this up. What it showed me is that we have a passionate, INFORMED, fanbase that wants our owner to do the right thing. Personally, I donated hundreds of dollars to firejohnidzik.com and I am glad to say that my investment paid off. So you made a substantial monetary investment with zero rate of tangible return thus substantiating P.T. Barnum's hypothesis?Bravo! Kinda like purchasing PSLs, except a whole lot cheaper.

Cheers. The dopes succeeded in showing that they were emotional, ill-informed and capable of making Woody wet his pants, make a bad decision based upon incomplete data that will possibly scare away (see two GM prospects that turned down the Jets for an interview) the top talent at Coach and GM. Why would any top talent come here knowing that the owner is easily influenced and there job could be in jeopardy so quickly and without time to implement a long-term plan? Lol what a dumb post. Zero empirical evidence back any of this up. What it showed me is that we have a passionate, INFORMED, fanbase that wants our owner to do the right thing. I think you better pump the brakes before the car you're driving fucking burns

Looking forward to your equally substantial donation to the Hampur which will give you infinitely more ROI. Alternatively, you should have just sent Woody a frisbee-gram requesting he fire Idzi. Thats exactly what I was just thinking. Hundreds of dollars donated. Then comes here to talk jets all day and tell us about his kind donations elsewhere. Go chat with them. This guy kidding me

Not that I think Idzik should have been retained but I have to say, the first few years of Seatlle's drafts preceeding their Superbowl, and coinciding with Pete Carroll's tenure there, were considered head scratchers at best and monstrous misses at worst, by the vast majority of the media and so-called experts. If their owner hadnt had faith and trust in the GM/scouts and stuck it out, they'd likely be treading water just like us. I was really surprised that Woody acted that fast in firing someone that he had invested so much in finding. Good post not only that but we were $30M over the cap and every fan was screaming about how Tanny had left us in cap hell(for all we know MT would've made the same moves Idzik did to free up cap space but that's another matter)now we are $40M under(a fairly chunky swing of seventy mil)and everyone forgets he was walking on water this time last year.I can't say I was gutted he left but he was bright, had a plan that was longer than 2 years and it has to be said has a legit case to feel he got a raw deal. For me the failure to get a single contributing WR Out of this draft was damning but yeah I was surprised too. on a side note I watched some Brett Hundley highlights and wasn't overly impressed with him but I kept on seeing the same guy make play after play and flashing big time and eventually thought "damn that WR wearing the no 1 is good".....Shaq Evans may yet surprise us all.

The problem with Woody is he is like a pendulum - always swinging to the opposite of what he is trying to replace.

Absolutely right. Or...maybe he just got fired because he sucks and his boss knew it, and not because of a lame-ass billboard some clown with too much time on his hands put together. It's definitely one or the other though. Why can't it be a little bit of both? I don't think Woody made his decision solely based on firejohnidzik.com and its associated activities, but it definitely did its part in keeping Idzik on the hot seat. The chances of Idzik getting fired still would have been very high, but it's nice to think that us fans do have a voice in how the organization is run. One time I yelled Idzik sucks and Woody should fire him. Maybe that is what did it and your billboard contribution did nothing. If we're just speculating on causes we might as well keep speculating.

The 2010 Jets draft looked genius compared to the 2013 one. Idzik is the absolute worst executive in Jets history and it really isn't close. Missing on 12 picks?? Clueless

I donated hundreds of dollars to "makethesunriseandseton1/7/2015.com" and it worked! The sun did indeed rise AND set yesterday so it PROVES that my investment was a wise one. You can all feel free to thank me now.

You kind of made my point, zero empirical evidence had come in that warranted a firing of John Idzik. You "donated" hundreds of dollars ok... Everyone needs tax deductions this time of year. Not gonna call your posts dumb... you're doing fine all by yourself.. Stand by my statement...
