Hands down the very best CB I ever saw play the game. Were you out shooting Bambi when Deion played? kudos How about Mike Haynes? He was elite AFTER the 1978 rule change.

Jesus are you all so fucking SALTY over him leaving to get a ring. I still love him he gave us years. I hope he retires a Jet Even in his retirement speech he came across as an egotistical self absorbed pompous arrogant prick.
Sounds like Brady was a "wonderful" influence on him.

Deion Sanders was a game-changing, playmaking CB who impacted every game, he was the best to ever play the position. I laugh my ass off at those fans (and they are only Jets fans) who try and compare Revis to Sanders. BTW WCO, stop trying to bait me, Iβm too old.

Does it count against the cap?

Does it count against the cap? I wonder if he's surprised so many of us are like, meh. Retire as a Patriot, why the fuck would we applaud him for retiring as a Jet? Oh, that's right, he realizes he'll get more bang for his buck retiring here because no one in NE ever considered him anything more than a useful mercenary. I've seen about 0 Revis jerseys in the last few years, so that tells me ALOT.

It looked like he had already retired the last year he played for the Jets.

The term "Revis Island" is certainly appropriate even today...but ironically more for his standing with Jet fans..... than his style of play. (Imho)
