Uhh, the guy kind of makes an important security point however.
The 9/11 terrorists came through Logan Airport in case everyone forgot about that.
However you really shouldn't joke about shit like that. Also, how are they going to host anything close to an Olympics? They have ZERO space to build a site for it. Are they going to call it Boston but really they mean Foxborough? I'm confused. Not only that, but they don't have the hotel infrastructure either. Really dumb idea. Not like it matters anyway, US isn't winning that bid.

Don't approach me like that! Don't lean in and try to intimidate me....even if you ARE the future GM of the New York Jets.

They should do the games in Austin, Tx. They should do the games in Austin, Tx. You better leave now to make it through Austin traffic and find a parking spot. Yes, I'm there ... I mean, literally, I'm already there. But you're right, rex, the traffic here is horrific, with little or no public transportation. One of the fastest growing urban areas in the country and the roads and highways are back in the old days. I'm glad I don't have to commute. I say this, having lived in the Boston area for 21 years and dealing with that craphole traffic and insane drivers.

You just described the problem Atlanta faced and still faces in the wake of hosting the 1996 Olympics. Traffic was bad back then, but it's become the worst in the country since then.

It'll be an eastern New England Olympics. Most host cities have sites miles and miles away. I wouldn't be surprised if some events aren't in the hills of Worcester. Or on the coast of Rhode Island, assuming all the IP addresses aren't banned.

You can give me your number and I'll never call back or make a move on you, and then I'll post in the hampur about it and get great advice... all of which I'll never use. What I'm trying to say is that I think we may have something here.

Swimming would be at Harvard or BU, Worcester Centrum for boxing, Hartford for Shuttle Cock, etc. That being said, they would need to build the opening ceremony and track and field stadium now, didnt the big dig take about 20 years! And yes, Rhode Island would be blacked out!!

I absolutely love it. Congratulations Boston, you had put in the largest bribe to the USOC. Don't let that reality get in the way of you patting yourself on the back for being a "special" place, though.
Question: if this becomes reality, are we going to be allowed to cheat as a nation?
