The Jets were embarrassed on Thursday Night Football or at least they should feel embarrassed. The players, coaches, management, everyone. This would be my response if I were the coach. I'd call out every loafer on the team and tell them their days are numbered unless I see immediate improvement. Secondly, the stupid antics, i.e., ass wiping the football are over. Finally, there would be no days off and the team would practice every day up until the Jacksonville game because they don't deserve a day off. I'd follow that by saying if anyone has a problem with that I'll be in my office, come talk to me about it. However, if you do, bring your real estate agent's telephone number, because that who you will be calling right after you leave my office because your gone and will need to sell your house. I'm sure Bowles won't do anything remotely anything like this. Maybe a little criticism at film review but that's where it will end. It's just embarrassing to be the team the Browns finally beat, laughing stocks..... Why couldn't the Jets hire YOU as their HC?

So, who then? Mike Shannahan? Would Tom Coughlin want to return to the sideline? Perhaps Bellichick will shake free? Even when I hated Rex, I was not for his firing until I we had options that we knew would be better. IF we are not "settling" on the next HC, who is it? I don't see alot of great options out there. Mike McCoy? I just don't see any obvious candidates. Ken Whisenhut. Has previous HC exp and is an offensive coach. He took the Cards to the SB. WAIT? He's still available?
That would be a tremendous signing and something the Jets NEED(and Sam Darnold needs)....

Exactly. Same with tanny. Even idzik. We went from idzik to a worse idzik. Leo bust now too. He’s just a terrible judge of talent. Jets got Macc from the Texans - miserable to mediocre franchise. Plus, he looks like a mattress salesman. The problem is woody doesn’t know football people - remember he had to hire a headhunter because he doesn’t know shit. He knows toothpaste not touchdowns. This franchise is a joke. Move to Nome please. And although I didn't put Bowles at the same negative level as the fucking idiot Maccagnan, this article sums him up thoroughly ... nypost.com/2018/09/21/the-quiet-reason-why-todd-bowles-jets-are-always-a-mess/So ... unfortunately, he must go also. Joe Beningo is correct.
Hey Bro! BRO!
Jets are a DISAST-AH, BRO!
Even my friend from Smithtown in Nissan, Craig Fina, thinks the Jets are one.

I gave up years ago. I have zero emotional outbursts during jets games same Mr Ragu didn't bother me at all like in the past. in fact I even called the script in the 1st q in the thread back to not watching at all and I'm fine with that. No prob sleeping in on sundays
You do have NFL Redzone, right?
That's even more enjoyable to watch than a Jets game. lol

Two of the three games I watched more or less in real time; given their performances the last two, I will be relegating the Jets to DVR status again and freeing up my gamedays. I will continue to watch as I feel Darnold is (finally) the answer, but I am officially on the 'shit's gotta change/higher-ups need to be fired' bandwagon.

NFL Redzone is a close second.
(I'll be watching tomorrow)

So tomorrow what's worth watching? Not much ... and after looking at the schedule ... the Jags, Broncos, Colts, Vikings, Bears and Dolphins are we talking about 1 and 8? Yeah, we probably are. One and Eight!!! Followed by the Bills, Patriots and Titans ... Maybe we take the Bills to go 2 & 10 into November ... But once again our season is over in October. And what is there to hope for ... another top draft pick? A selection by the fucking idiot Maccagnan. The only thing to hope for is for the fucking idiot Maccagnan and Bowles to be fired immediately after the last game loss to the Pats ... preceded by losses to the Bills, Texans, Packers and Pats ... So we are probably gonna go 1 and 15 or 2 and 14 ... which is very representative of the fucking idiot Maccagnan and Bowles. Another typical Jets season ... truly a piece of shit.

^ willis, CHILL THE FUCK OUT! I get it.....We suck. LIFE GOES ON, MY FRIEND! That's why I like watching Redzone 'cause I'm just watching for the enjoyment of watching NFL Football. I don't have to think about "Oh jesus fuck....what are the Jets going to do to piss me off today?" but instead just watch FOOTBALL.

I am done with Bowles and Mac. The Jets need to make a change today. Fire them both and get someone with knowledge and balls to coach this team. We have a top rookie QB who isn't allowed to throw passed the line of scrimmage and the team is extremely undisciplined. I don't care that the calls like the unsportsmanlike call against Johnson were BS ticky tack calls. The team has no composure and that reflects directly on Bowles. Get someone from the Offensive side of the ball that is a disciplinarian to run this team and someone that will make the right moves with a ridiculous amount of cap space and likely another top 5 draft pick. Until they get this figured out I just can't see me investing any more time in this garbage. I guess I have to agree. But really my criticism has nothing to do with Bowles, where I have the biggest problem is with McCagnan? Is there some alternate universe McCagnan and his butt buddy mentor Charlie Casserly are from? EVERY year besides last year you have Mac running the draft and I see him picking players that 1) NEVER help the team win from the time they step on the field. 2) Despite this thought process and highly touted belief of taking the BPA, rarely if ever does that player turn out to be the BPA? Do players like Williams, Lee, and Adams give you that warm, fuzzy feeling that lets you know the Jets will definitely be meeting the President some time soon? Not once have I ever felt that optimism about Mac? What's even more brainwashingly psycho is Casserly constantly running his mouth on NFL network about how vastly improved the Jets are each and every year under Mac? It's like he just got done pounding Mac's ass and he feels obligated to day something nice as if to pretend him and Mac are so much smarter than everyone else? I know what I see and that is the following: 1) This team has LESS talent now than before Mac arrived. He constantly neglects huge areas of need like OL and edge rusher, special teams, defensive line? 2) Not a single player Mac has picked since becoming GM have instantly started helping the Jets win football games. That never happens. It's always let's take a wait and see approach to see what he can become in 3 years. 3) The Jets are NOT winning under Mac's direction. This team is now 21-30 since Mac became GM. Has anyone on this board ever heard the phrase, " you are what your record says you are"? In other words, this team is worse off than the last year under Rex. So I'm tired of this constant obligation that's laid at my feet that says I have to be patient with this front office and give them a chance? Mac has been here 3 years now I certainly do not think it's ridiculous to say, "I want to enjoy this team watching them win". 4) To put the icing on this shit sandwich that all of us are expected to eat, the Jets just got best by a team that hasn't won a game since late 2015. I'm so embarrassed to be a fan of this team I can't even show my face with anyone that knows I'm a Jets fan. Quite frankly I'm tired of this BS that we get from this team. After 4 years now and the Jets starting another 5-11 season, it's time to pull the plug.

It figures, Sleepy Bowles gave the team time off after the embarrassing loss to Cleveland. Like I previously said, they would of reported Friday for injury assessment/treatment and film review. Then no days off until Jacksonville. They would be informed they didn't deserve days off when they embarrass themselves like they did on Thursday night in front of a national audience.
