linkRex lobbying to come back. LoL. Bowles mishandles Darnold (true) but no comment on how he failed Sancheese.

The only capacity in which I'd bring Rex back is as a DC. Or a men's room attendant.

Rex had alot to say about Sunday's loss with the irony of his own tenure...with the same sort of debacle-losses signaling the end to his career here, seeming to escape him... the stuttering prick.

Suckchez was never good and a terrible pick.
Rex lost me when they picked up Tebow. Can't go backwards.

Rex has a point about the Dolphins game... going empty backfield against Cameron Wake is serving your QB up on a platter.

Ravens chose Harbaugh over Rex and he didn't hide the fact that he was butt hurt over it. Can't imagine Rex working for Harbaugh on a team Rex used to be HC.

Rex has a point about the Dolphins game... going empty backfield against Cameron Wake is serving your QB up on a platter. Couldn't agree more. That's the type of stuff that gets in the Jets game plan which speaks volumes regarding the competence of the coaching staff. Obviously, sometimes you do empty the backfield but not against premier pass rushers with the exception of when you have an all pro left tackle.

I happen to like Rex. As a head coach, he could be pretty entertaining. But unfortunately he sucked as a head coach. I still think he is a good DC but I canât see him coming back to the jets as a DC.

Rex dipping his toes into the coaching pond?
Trying to get his foot back in the door?

Rex went to consecutive AFC championships - sure there was luck involved, but the guys deserves a little credit... đ

FWIW I would take Mangini back before Rex.
But I dont want either of them.
We need a young, vibrant, innovative, offensive-minded coach. Someone who is going get the most out of Darnold.
Our 2019 cap room and top of the draft need to all go towards putting Sam in a position to succeed. He needs a wall in front of him and a legit WR to go with Enunwa and Herndon.
