Rex remains a trainwreck. A full out rush to failure in taking the Bills job. The man is incapable of playing chess, just checkers. Sort of sad, really. I'm glad it's official so we can stop dwelling over the past and his miserable stretch for the last 4 years. I look forward to backing Quinn as our leader and our future smacking Rex in the face twice a year. Well said sir. I wish the best for Rex but like Vince Mcmahon would say "its Rex that screwed Rex".

A lot of you wanted Trestman as the OC here so hopefully you were wrong about that because if they got any improvement on O and Rex puts his touch on that D they could be a good team for a while. No 1st rounder helps but the have $25,255,653 under the cap right now according to overthecap.com/salary-cap-space. On a side note the Jags are $63,902,876 under the cap!?!?!?!?! Agreed about their defense. Their players, especially in the front 7 are extremely talented, but the question is will a scheme change help or would it hinder this group? Shwartz is clearly on the opposite page of Ryan and he was very successful last year in making this D what it is. Is Rex going to let him run with it this year? Or is he going to bring in Dunbar or Thurman? Also why bring in a guy like Roman over a trestman or shanahan? Just too many question marks for me and maybe that's what the Bills need, but I really doubt it.

Not afraid of Rex going to Buffalo. I have confidence that Quinn or Bowles can install a strong defense with the personnel we have, the draft and free agency. So from that perspective, I don't think we're giving too much away from Rex leaving us. The potential upgrade is that Rex is gone and we get to start anew. Having a strong defense will continue to keep up in games, as Rex's defense historically had. The big difference for us will be that we will have a new GM and HC combo that will bring in a strong OC, work together, hopefully have a strong draft together, get some quality players through free agency, and steal a few games with better offensive personnel and schemes (can anyone say "adjustments" which is something Rex was incapable of doing). I actually look forward to the chance to beating him twice a year, and watch his postgame press conferences: "I felt we were prepared and super-competitive...there was no quit out there...EJ Manuel is great...we have no problem with our locker room...put it all on me...blah, blah, blah..." I'm done with the whole Rex thing, for chrissakes.

They aren't getting Trestman. They're getting Greg fucking Roman who 49ers fans hate with a passion and who has a history with the gimmicky read option/wildcat shit that Rex loves so much. Buffalo's D has already been great for the last two years. So what the hell are they gaining here? Their offense is a total mess and Rex Ryan is the guy that they just hired to fix it.

That's a puzzling hire, 49ers fans hated the guy, glad to see him go.

Another stellar hire on the O side of the ball for Rex.

The weird thing about the (non) Atlanta gig, was that supposedly the new HC was supposed to decide whether Dimitroff was staying. So the fact that Dimitroff and Pioli didn't want him while Blank did- all very peculiar.

How easy is it for a tattoo artist to change a green #6 jersey to a blue one? Nice to know that Rex reads my posts...
