How the fuck is Rex, who has demonstrated time and time again that he doesn't give two shits about the offensive side of the ball and had two young QB's do nothing but regress under his guidance, the guy to fix that?
Do you believe Rex is stupid? He's going to learn from his mistakes here and IMHO watch out.
Learn from his mistakes? In Rex's 6 years here, when did he ever learn from his mistakes? And don't tell me "uhh...well...he stopped guaranteeing Superbowls every year".

I may have thought that until I heard he's hiring the 49ers OC... He just is too damn stubborn on the Offense. Stop the run and you win the game. And use all 11 to stop the run, don't even matter.

He had 6 years here to improve on the offense, it's not like the fact that the offense sucked year after year was surprise. That's not something you just "learn" to change, especially considering he apparently wanted to stay in NY. Our roster parallels Buffalo's in so many ways its almost ridiculous that Rex is signing there of all places if he wanted to change anything up.

And he's bringing in the 49ers guy to run the same shit-tastic "offense" he's been trying to do with the Jets.... Really kinda crazy. He's not thinking ahead here at all. Only doing this to stick it to us. At least he will still give Belichoke headaches.

At this point too I'm wondering if his RB situation is even an upgrade - a damaged Spiller and an aging Jackson vs Ivory, Powell and Johnson. Dixon and Brown are promising but for how much Rex loves to run the ball I just don't see it. At least he has Watkins to work with...and EJ Manuel

Seriously, I hope we can unload all our scrubs and specifically Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson and Terminator because we all know how much Rex fuckin loves those guys and throw in as many other scrubs up and down the roster as we can for Sammy Watkins. Maybe even Harvin if we can do that before deadlines and shit.

What was he treated like here? He is under .500 in 6 seasons. High water mark of 11 wins. And our fans are in shambles that he is gone and even worse going to Buffalo. I'd say he was treated pretty well here.

Like you said, Sammy Watkins is really the only building block that team has on offense and they forfeited their 1st round pick this year in order to obtain him. I don't care how good Buffalo's defense could potentially be next year and beyond. That offense is still going to be a steaming pile of dogshit that averages around 16 points a game. Rex was essentially just fired from a team with the same fucking set up. It's exactly why guys like Bart Scott and Boomer were shaking their heads when the hiring was first announced on CBS earlier today. Everyone knows what an ass backwards move this is besides the legions of Rex supporters who continually overlook all of his shortcomings just because they'd like to have a fucking beer with the guy.

I had a funny thought today that getting to coach Sammy Watkins was a big influence in Rex's decision.
Then I thought, knowing Rex and how irrational, tiny things can alter his decisions, it's probably not too far from the truth.

I have to assume this means Scwartz will be out in Buffalo. If so, I think he will make an excellent addition to our new staff as DC. Bing states that word is Wartz will stay.... I fucking love you, man.
