No. Fuck Harbaugh. He inherited a good team in SF. And when the league caught up to Kaepernick he jumped ship bc he knew he couldnt develop him. Or you could say he took his team to a SB despite Kap. Hard to hide a mediocre QB all the way to the SB.

There isn't a coach i would want more to develop darnold than harbaugh. I don't know how he'd handle the ny media, but other than that, he's perfect for this team. I don't care what the costs are if he's willing to come here, sign the beast.

SB winning QBs can be mediocre compared to say the way the Raven's defense won them games. however They are still among the "cleanest" performers out of all the QB's. Thank you, Switzerland.

Jets want Jim Harbaugh? The same Harbaugh that just got absolutely smoked in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl?
Par for the course.

Never liked him. Never wanted him as HC.
But I would have taken his brother in a heartbeat.

I think Lincoln Riley still did an admirable job against Alabama. The Sooners were clearly overmatched and don't have the defensive personnel to slow down that offense run by Tua. But again, I think Oklahoma was resilient and put up a lot more points on Alabama in the 2nd Half than I expected.

Being an offensive first coach is the way to go in the NFL, throw money at him and hope he bites. Def would change the entire face of the franchise young and innovative.

Why the hell do people want Riley?
Is it the goofy air raid offense that he runs which has no place in the pros?
Is it the fact that Oklahoma has to win every game 52-48 because their defense, as well as every other defense in the Big 12, is virtually nonexistent?
Is it the fact that over the last 30+ years, Jimmy Johnson is the only coach who had no prior experience in the NFL to make a successful jump to the pro level?
Is it this over the top obsession with finding the next Sean McVay, who hasn’t won dick of significance thus far and whose Rams team (and especially Goff) has fallen on their face over the last 6 weeks?
What is it?

But I don’t want anything to do with a college coach not named Jim Harbaugh or David Shaw. People can harp on Harbaugh’s disappointing record against Ohio State or Top 10 ranked teams all they want...but the guy developed Andrew Luck, totally turned Alex Smith’s career around and went to a Super Bowl with a run-first QB like Kaepernick. He also has a strong track record of turning teams around. From his stint at San Diego U, to Stanford, to the 49ers and yes, even Michigan. Literally everywhere he’s been. Frankly, I think he’s a better pro coach than college coach. And I would absolutely feel comfortable with him overseeing Darnold’s development.
