Wasn’t a fan of the Gase hire but I’m warming to it, one thing is abundantly clear though, we are in far better shape than with Bowles and his staff. An innovative offensive coach for Darnold and HC of the D. Feels good to have some quality coaches on the sideline for a change.

Watch Jonson be a star next year. Leo getting sacks and Lee actually looking like a decent NFL player.

I will say this: I no longer see the strings coming out of that marionette's head, so we are making progress somewhere.

I met Cowherd a few years back. He was going to interview Joe Namath for ESPN. A small group of us had VIP tix to meet Joe before the interview. Cowherd came into the room early and talked to us for quite a while. When I had listened to him, I always thought he could either be really good or really obnoxious. But that is part of his shtick. But he was great that night. He was just a regular guy and we had a great conversation. He absolutely loves Namath.

I will say this: I no longer see the strings coming out of that marionette's head, so we are making progress somewhere. We may have the coaches. But we need the players. Maccahagn is still a horrendous judge of talent (his drafts and FA signings are beyond subpar) and the lack of offensive playmakers is a HUGE problem. Draft/sign OL, sign Bell and trade back and draft and/ trade or steal a number one WR from some team by hook or by crook and then we may be finally on the right path. Sam needs an offense. And the scrubs currently on that side of the ball aren’t gonna cut it.
