Broncos fans were booing him tonight but he seemed like the only one who gave a shit out there at times. He's clearly been hurt/not himself for most of this year. He said he's "processing his future" in the post game press conference...what do you think? Is he done? Staying with the Broncos? For how long?

19m is a tall price to pay for what he gave them the last month or so.
They need to send Fox packing, that roster had no business being 1 and done. But that's where I wonder if it all falls apart - does Peyton want to break in a new coaching staff at this point in his career?
Honestly, that last drive just made me sad, it was embarrassing.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Peyton's last game today in a NFL uniform. My guess is he'll be taking the tv job Rex could have had next year instead of coaching another team with no QB.

There's already talk of them firing Fox and promoting Gase to HC to lure Peyton into coming back for another year.

I love my job but not more than sitting on a beach sucking umbrella drinks. I'll probably work 'till I die with 2 ex's taking pretty much all I could retire on. But I don't get these guys. Even Sancheez. Why put up with the abuse when you have millions for every year you've been alive. Fade away and enjoy like most of the world wishes they could.

He looked like Chad Pennington out there tonight with his dead arm. I don't know why a southern boy who played a bulk of his games inside the cozy confines of a dome would get lured to a cold-weather team, where clearly he doesn't seem to play well in the cold. Elway must have given him one hell of a used-car salesman pitch to go there, and now they are all reaping the rewards for their decisions. I can't feel sorry for the guy, he's won a Super Bowl, made millions from plastering his forehead everywhere, and he'll be doing this next weekend like the rest of us. Edit: noticed he has the Manning face in this commercial too

His arm is done. He just can't do it consistently anymore. I think he should call it a career.

QB coach on Dan Quinn's Jets. Screw that....just make him the OC the guy is an offensive genius.

Unless he was playing through an undisclosed injury (he looked a lot like Favre at the end of that 08 season) I think we probably saw the last of Peyton last night. And I hope we did, watching him play yesterday was just sad.

Its time.
The best regular-season QB ever should retire.

Of course I think a lot of his genius comes from audibles at the line after seeing the D so unless he has the Pats headsets that stay on after the 15 second mark I don't know if his genius could translate to another QB.

Manning would make a great analyst. He's smart and has a dry wit that would make him good for a color commentary role.
Or he can just retire on a personal island with the buttload of money he's made over the years.

He's still good enough that even if Denver doesn't want him there are other teams that would pick him up. However, I think Elway will keep Peyton and dump anybody else he needs to keep Peyton surrounded with a team that can win.
If he quits playing then he will easily find a role on a coaching staff. He clearly enjoys the game too much to sit on the side and just talk about it. At least at this point in his life.
