Was that the year of the brutal Doug Brien missed FGs against Pitt in the divisional round? That was a heartbreaker. As for where they go from here - I think they blew any good will and positive vibes they had from earlier this season, the fans go back to complete apathy towards and mockery of the team, Met Death becomes a barren wasteland and the Jets go back to complete and utter irrelevance. Honestly, after the teases, frustrations and annoyances of the team and the games they played this season I welcome not giving a crap again. Much easier on the nerves and my mental stability. They just can’t ever get it right, but we fans don’t even get the 2 or 3 year blips of limited playoff success we used to get. This is just horrendous - 12 going on 13 years of disgrace and ineptitude. Fuck ‘em. We can’t even say “at least the jets aren’t the jags, lions and/or browns” anymore (OK, maybe the Browns still suck). But wake me up when they actually have a change in their losing culture, get their own real stadium, have new non-pathetic uniforms, have a real franchise QB, don’t blow every single big game, etc etc etc. outstanding bud...couldn't have said it better...a++...

absolutely...but its gonna change... Why would it? have they changed anything really after how many suicides of dudes blowing their brains out including Hall of Famers? Protect The Shield is their motto and they will. They'll add defibulators and add a heart specialist on the sideline, and keep the dollars flowing. In honesty the hit is one you'll see 20 times a game. I wouldn't be surprised he had a pre existing condition taht went undetected. Trades is right...its the Ray Rice effect...when u see it on video its different than when you read or hear about it...

ok we saw some nice things this year but after 4 years the patient is not getting better...another year and a terrible end...no QB... I think the quest needs to be to find a great OC AND QB. Who those 2 are that match in skill and scheme I don't know but I think that is what it takes to get to the next level. been saying that for a long time now...

all i know...and its not much...is that under Douglass Jets are 20-48... If you can't see that Douglas has been making good moves then I don't know what to say. I think one of the Jets biggest issues is the constant churn at coach, GM and QB. I understand not wanting to throw good money/time after bad but there has to be a time when you commit to a plan and follow it. I think there were a lot of improvements this year and I am willing to see Douglas and Saleh grow. ok we saw some nice things this year but after 4 years the patient is not getting better...another year and a terrible end...no QB...

It looks like Buffalo is going to get wacked good. Stay safe. On the other hand, the forecasters have promoted panic here in Illinois. Yesterday the grocery stores were packed with the sheep who buy into forecasters dire warnings and local news hysteria. Earlier it was 10 - 12 inches with white-out conditions and fridged temperatures. Last night its cold temperatures with wind chill below 0 and 2 - 3 1/2 inches with strong winds. I usually drink at the American Legion on Thursday to kick off the weekend and plan on going, fuck it, then home to watch the game. It will unfortunately screw up a lot of people's travel plans, in parts of the country, so good luck to everyone traveling. the world yawns.... ...<--thats Bing btw taking it in stride...
