If you were a Mets coach or player how would you feel about being asked about this most likely nonstop during a post season push?

Too much Favre revisionist love here. Guy was average when healthy, terrible when hurt, and his own selfishness kept him on the field when he shouldn't have been. Not to mention he only used us a stepping stone to get to Minnesota to stick it to the Packers (again selfishness).

I'm not saying the intent was dirty. But the result is something that gets called almost automatically. I agree that they normally calm that, but the refs need to lay off a little bit. There is only so much a defender can do. Like when a S leads with his shoulder and the WR lowers his head to brace for the hit. Some of the responsibility lies with the offensive player. Fair. I agree it wasnt dirty, but usually the flag that, lol/

The QB rotation theme this entire season has been maddening. I don't ever recall it being this extreme. Players were allready questioning Malzahn today apparently.

What did you want him to do? He led with his shoulder and the receiver took the worst of it.....I'm fine with that. I'm not saying the intent was dirty. But the result is something that gets called almost automatically. You see targeting called all the time even if the defender wasn't necessarily going for the receivers head. As long as they make contact there, it is usually at the very least roughing, and a lot of the times targeting. Im just talking on what I;ve seen the past few years. And the fact that I put money on ND, and this was a game changing call.

How is that not targeting?? Clean hit in my book, the way football should be played. Shoulder to the head? That play gets called a penalty 9 out of 10 times at the college level.

Wow, great athletic play by the ND WR there. Beautiful catch and subsequent effort to get into the endzone.
