Why does everyone keep saying he's in tremendous shape. There was no definition to his thighs which I would of expected considering he lost 60 pounds. As far as I'm concerned he's just a fat tub of lard that just stopped stuffing his face for a bit. I bet when he plays Thursday he pulls himself before the half.' People criticized him when he weighed in at 364lbs. with 17% body fat at the combine and he dropped a 5.1. Now you're criticizing him for getting down to the 350lb range for a 6'8" freak of an athlete and he has no definition in his thighs. Too many are forgetting his rookie season when he was dominant at times and ragdolling people. He doesn't get the benefit of the doubt and he already pulled himself in training camp.

Move AVT to Tackle and put Tippman at Guard until he is ready to play center I could get behind this if Becton and Brown are still hurting. I'm still hoping for Becton to lock it down but I understand the deserved disdain for him. This year feels different with him reporting in tremendous shape, I think too many people forget as a rookie he dominated Nick Bosa. Why does everyone keep saying he's in tremendous shape. He came here with $150 million price tag. He now has a $112 million price tag. You are getting hung up on the cap trickery GMs do to kick the can down the road a little bit. He is costing us less than he did last week. See the "History" tab: overthecap.com/player/aaron-rodgers/1085i thought his price tag was only 100 when he came here...are you including the 3rd option year? JD redid his contract to lower next years 101 mil hit. That's the result.

I thought, in theory, they are supposed to be working/meeting with their constituents during this time. I guess that's the general idea. However, it would be interesting to see what they actually do or go during these 6 weeks. I'm sure there are some dedicated individuals who do exactly as intended, but I'm guessing there's a lot of goofing off too. With Zoom calls I think it makes sense to do away with members being in DC except for inaugurations, State of the Unions and a few other things. It seems to me it would cut down on the corruption some.

I wouldn't sign him to the roster, just as a coach. If Rodgers went down then I'd sign him to the roster. I think that's ok. It isn't according to the article and what happened with the Broncos a couple years ago. Call him a consultant on a week to week contract then. There's gotta be a way around it like Curtis Martin's contract.

I'd bring in Matt Ryan under some bullshit title so he can learn the offense. Then if something happens to Rodgers you just sign him to the active roster. I watched a few Colts games last year. There oline was garbage. He was under pressure almost immediately after just about every snap. The few plays he had time he still performed well. I think there are rules against having a coach signed as a player for this reason. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Player-coach#:~:text=In%20an%20official%20capacity%2C%20much,to%20circumvent%20the%20salary%20cap. I wouldn't sign him to the roster, just as a coach. If Rodgers went down then I'd sign him to the roster. I think that's ok.

Am I reading this correctly? We owe him 112m over the next 4 years? Yes but I think the void years push the cap costs out to 2028 and He has a dead cap hit of 49 mil in 2025 and 35 mil in 2026 if I'm reading that right. If he retires after 2024 those are pretty big numbers. If we win a SB I won't give a fuck though.

We basically traded Elijah Moore for Tippmann. I listened to a Browns podcast and he is killing it. If he has a great year and Tippmann can't see the field it was a colossal fuckup. Moore didn't want to be here though he probably would have been great with Rodgers. I see no problems getting rid of a guy who constantly quit on plays for a potential long term solution on an OLine that needs help. I will be concerned in Week1 not the first week of practice. I remember he stopped running on one play. I remember him wide open on plenty of plays. The guy was unhappy with shitty QB play....like every WR. He would have been good to great with Rodgers and our 2d best WR. If Tippmann doesn't play this year it was a bad decision. If Tippmann starts week 1 serve me the crow.

This is aggravating. It's been years since JD arrived and except for AVT the entire line is still a huge question mark. It's been 9 days. Let's wait till Week 1 when Aaron runs for his life. We basically traded Elijah Moore for Tippmann. I listened to a Browns podcast and he is killing it. If he has a great year and Tippmann can't see the field it was a colossal fuckup.
