What an entitled whiny, little bitch. I pray he starts a game against us. Rex: "I see you've got my hand-picked Quarterback in theeeeeeeeeeere!" Seriously, though, fuck that guy.

Why the hell was Gailey even opening his mouth about it? He's not the HC, so he should keep his mouth shut when it comes to naming starters.

Speak for yourself. I wanted nothing to do with that bust and would have thrown out any and all hope for a good draft if Mac had somehow gotten him. I am speaking for myself and everyone who wanted him. We all said he'll need two years. Most that didn't want him said the same, part of why they didn't want him. If if he's a bust you're right. If most talent people are right and he was there and we passed it would be an all time shit draft. Dude, just watch his games. How in the world do people think he's anything other than Kaepernick lite? I mean, I feel what you're saying about NFL talent evaluators and all that, but are we not forgetting that those same people are responsible for bust after bust after bust? NFL talent evaluators thought highly of Sanchez, Tebow, Leaf, Russell, etc. So, imo, NFL talent evaluators thinking highly of him just doesn't carry much weight for me. Let me just say it like this regarding Mariota: it's not that I wouldn't want him..........just not that freaking high in the draft. Imo, without his athleticism, there's no reason he's not a 3rd or 4th rounder. But, because he's a ridiculous athlete, he went WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY higher than he rightfully should have. If a team had gotten him in a later round as a developmental guy with good physical tools to work with, that's fine. But, this dude went 2nd overall and has already been named the starter for Tennessee. He's going to bomb this year, and I doubt he ever develops past 'college athlete'.

This is not unexpected. Gailey considers himself to be a very good coach. Geno has undeniable arm talent to go along with questionable decision making and poor ball security skills. Gailey knows that no amount of coaching will give Fitz Geno's physical skills, and Gailey thinks Geno's weaknesses can be minimized with some good coaching. Plus, Gailey likes to build his offense around his players skill-sets. An O built for Geno looks a whole lot different than an O built for Fitz. Their isn't a coach in the world, from youth sports to the pros, who doesn't make every effort to give the physically talented player every chance to succeed. Plus, if the whole thing blows up, Fitz is the back-up plan. That works a whole lot better than having Geno as the back-up plan if Fits falls on his face. If I'm Gailey, I cut down Geno's reads. Maybe do like the Niners did for Alex Smith and limit most passing reads to half the field. Also, I'd adopt the Chip Kelly practice of having the O line up early with plenty of time on the play clock so I can talk to my QB about the play while he is under center. Bottom line, I trust Gailey. He's an excellent OC. First OC we've had that I have a high degree of confidence in since Hemmindinger. Exactly. Fitz is the backup plan. More importantly he's the given, he's been around too long, he's not changing unless there's a Vinny like miracle. To me their numbers are similar the difference being that Geno is a third year, 24 year old who still should be improving. I keep, saying it, we wanted Mariota and most were ok with letting him develop for a couple of seasons learning the pro game off a spread offense college career. But no one wants to give Geno the time to do the same coming off the same type of issues due to his college system. Weve already invested 2 seasons, money and a pick. Makes total sense to see what we have before dropping him to the backup spot and then throw away Speak for yourself. I wanted nothing to do with that bust and would have thrown out any and all hope for a good draft if Mac had somehow gotten him.

Lmao, of course. Here's to another year of the Geno "yards after the interception" Smith show, boys. Geno only had 13Ints last season. He just needs to increase his TDs to over 25. "Only" 13 INTs and 3 fumbles isn't good when he also was benched numerous times and only threw 13 TDs. That, my friend, is shitty.

What are you talking about? The perception about the team among other fans has always been that they're cheaters. If you didn't know that, you've been hiding under a rock and only associating with Jets and Patriots fans. The perception about them hasn't changed one bit, because everyone has known about them being cheaters forever and have hated them for it. Join us in the real world, bro. Nothing has changed in this whole ordeal, and that's what's so damn frustrating about it. Bullshit No one outside of this fanbase so ardently referred to them as cheaters before this incident with the deflated footballs. Not even Miami or Buffalo fans. Now? Everyone out there is raking them over the coals. Even analysts on the major networks like ESPN and NFL Network who couldn't stop blowing them at every turn prior to the Wells report being released. Lol, you're delusional if you don't think other fanbases thought NE were cheaters. Absolutely delusional. Try going on facebook or twitter whenever they're brought up. What do you see? "THEY'RE CHEATERS!", "NO RINGS SINCE SPYGATE!", etc. And that's not just from Jets fans, buddy. Everyone knows they fucking cheated, it's not some super secret knowledge that only we had, you know. And now? Not a fucking thing changed. They got caught again, doing what we all knew they did, and they still got to keep their fucking titles. I'm sorry if you like New England winning championships, but the rest of us actually give a fuck and don't like those fucking douchebags. Ignored.

I bet you Goodell offered to reduce the suspension if they didn't appeal, lol. You know, regardless of how the appeals and everything goes, the Patriots still ultimately come out as the winners. A fine? A short suspension? A lost pick or two? Meh. What do those things really matter when they still get to keep those titles? Hell, the NFL won't even put an official asterisk on them even when they themselves acknowledged that New England has cheated MULTIPLE TIMES. So, really, how has NE lost in this whole thing? Say what you want about the importance of draft picks and whatnot, but if the ultimate goal of all of it is to win the championship, what does a pick or a short suspension matter? I think that's the real tragedy of all of this, really. No matter how many picks they take away, how much they fine the team, however long they suspend Brady, they still have the championship and the NFL won't ever take that away from them. Don't care about that The fact is that the perception of them has totally changed. For the last 8 years, it's basically only been Jets fans that have perceived the Pats as cheaters. Now, everyone does. What are you talking about? The perception about the team among other fans has always been that they're cheaters. I'm sure as VP of Football Ops, he has some degree of involvement, yeah. What does that job actually entail, anyway? I'm almost certain it has something to do with operations and football. My source is sketchy, though.
