Any decent OLine FA is going to cost a lot. Did you see what the Eagles are paying Lane Johnson? Draft OLine.

As much as I would love to see another Ron Mexico jersey, Klecko would be the one.
My choice is and has always been Namath (because you can't find Mitchell and Ness Emerson Boozer jerseys)

19 - Chris Farasopoulos, the obvious choice. This guy was Phil Lynott at the same time as Phil Lynott. He should have been named "toast"

Meh. As Pats fans we are used to this. After every Super Bowl win the league comes at the team with some phony baloney. (Like we need the Bengals signals, please.) Hey cant' beat us on the field might as well try this. Plus, takes away the story of how the Pats were screwed by the refs on Sunday. Go ahead, take a draft pick (we cant draft for shit anyway), fine Mr. Kraft, fine or suspend BB. Wash, repeat, rinse, win 12 games. Same as it ever was. The league has tried to screw the Pats for 20 years. Its amazing we were able to win 6 Lombardi's. Imagine how may more we would have won if we had a fair playing field! They hate us, cuz they ain't us! We hate them because they don't play fair.

If Douglas planned on keeping any Oline he better sign em quick. This is crazy. Mike Garafolo (@mikegarafolo) Tweeted: Sources: The #Eagles have agreed to a four-year, $72 million extension with right tackle Lane Johnson that includes $54.595 guaranteed. It is the largest contract for an NFL offensive lineman in history on a per-year and guarantee basis. There are so many teams that have horrible OLine issues - OL salaries are going to explode this offseason.

We tried that and it didn't work. The trouble is that the Jets are not the only team with OL needs, there's a league wide shortage of decent OL talent. For god sakes, did you see what the Eagles paid Lane Johnson.....good god. When? Macc signed Beachum 3 years ago and then traded for a broken down Osemele 8 months ago. That was it, throughout his entire 5 offseasons as GM. The last time we really spent on OL in FA we wound up with Faneca and Woody. Not too shabby to say the least. I’d gladly give Scherff $16 million a year and Thuney $13 million. Don't you remember Osmele? groan. Also they attempted to sign Paradis but he choose to go with the Panthers instead. Scherff and Thuney are going to be very, very costly to whomever they sign with. I just don't see the Jets being able to sign them.

Invest heavily in the OL in FA, draft Lamb in the 1st round, and then grab another OL or two between rounds 2-4. We tried that and it didn't work. The trouble is that the Jets are not the only team with OL needs, there's a league wide shortage of decent OL talent. For god sakes, did you see what the Eagles paid Lane Johnson.....good god.

I checked out after the 2nd Pats game. This team will never amount to anything. They will always be on the wrong side of the glory hole. There's no wrong side of the glory hole. you.... complete.... me...
