I hear you, but it takes a really outside of the box type offense to make player like Lamar work. Do you really think the Jets can provide that? I don't. Tough to say on the offense part. Shannahan system is heavy on the QB being mobile. He also made RG3 look like a good and I think Jackson is a better athlete and passer. Also seems to have a better work ethic than Griffin. I think the biggest thing I see in Jackson is that despite being a ridiculously fast runner when he's evading defenders in the backfield he is always looking down field to make a passing play. Footwork needs work to improve his consistency. Jets things we all make awful calls in the draft forum. If you are going to rag on him for Lynch and Pettigrew then you have give him credit for hunt and Johnson too. The part about keeping his eyes downfield despite evading the pass rush, etc, is what I noticed too. Tho Lamar knows when to tuck and run, he doesn’t get enough credit for hanging in there and scanning the field for an open man. And why ppl rag on Petti? He’s no Gronk but he had a productive career that lasted 7-8 years. In the NFL that’s pretty admirable. I was high Pettigrew but I was higher on the idea of running a 2 TE formation (12 personnel) and we needed a (Y) inline TE to pair up with Keller. I was laughed at of course, until the next year when NE did it with Hern and Gronk.

Im prob sellin Jackson a bit short. He is an insane runner, there is no doubting that. Hard to project how he will do at the NFL level to be honest. All im saying is I'd rather just sign up for the sure, proven thing and pay Captain Kirk. With a good pick at 6 and two 2nd rounders we could be right back in playoff contention, providing that Mac doesnt f those picks up, which if we are being honest, he probably would. Most of this is for show. I'm not actually that self-righteous (i hope not)... but yes, i do think you're really underselling Lamar. He's a natural at the game and he's so damn fast... He doesn't need to be Aaron Rodgers or Carson Wentz, he can just be Lamar and win games.

Really? you were just saying? I think you were just leaving, son. Where was I going? Back in time to draft Brandon fucking Pettigrew? Shut up, nerd. Your draft calls are less than a low percentage. if by low you mean fucking awesome, then yes. Why does no one like you? I can't figure it out.

Paradis is in love with tight ends, he’ll not help you here. I’m not a huge Jackson fan but he’s a better QB than Desahaun Watson. Better arm, more arm talent, much more athletic. I’m not sure Watson isn’t RG3 that shined bright st first but then comes back to Earth. I don’t know whether Jackson will succeed but I think he has a much higher ceiling than Watson. Yeah I said it. _ Are you high? Watson beat Alabama. Jackson turned in duds in every big college game he played. Hold on.... hold the fucking phone... My profile of Ruby2 in the old brain databank is "fiesty old fucker, but a hell of a good man..."... do i have to add moron to that profile? Are you comparing the team Watson played on, to Lamar's UL teams.... ??!?!!!?!??!?!?

Hes not a 6th rounder, but he is definitely way behind Rosen, Darnold, and Mayfield. The chances he ever is productive as Cousins at the nfl level is extremely slim imo. If by productive you mean never winning a playoff game and basically being Fitzpatrick 2.0.... Comparing their productivity is silly.

I agree with you that he is behind Rosen and darnold. I have no love for Mayfield over him. Completion percentage was 5 points better with a much better supporting cast. Louisville was probably the worst surrounding cat of any of the top guys. And that's saying something cause UCLA's line was a dumpster fire the whole year. Paradis get your ass in here and help a brother out lol Paradis is in love with tight ends, he’ll not help you here. I’m not a huge Jackson fan but he’s a better QB than Desahaun Watson. Yeah I said it. _ There's a PFF study around somewhere showing QB ratings and accuracy adjusted for catchable balls, WR running wrong route, etc... Lamar's well into the high 60s%. I agree that I too like the other a bit just from a risk stand point, but my god. If Lamar ends up on JAX -- look the fuck out.

Lamar Jackson is a scrub. Maybe I'd draft him in the 6th round in the hopes of converting him to a rb Hyperbole if ever I heard it. The fact that Allen and Mayfield are mentioned in the top ten but this is even mentioned about Jackson is ridiculous. You know what the biggest joke is? If you went through all the tweets, headlines and general media proclamations about JOSH ALLEN and you swapped in Lamar's name -- 9/10 wouldn't change. Something to the effect of "Oozing Athletic ability, loads of upside, big arm, has made all the throws -- just needs to work on his consistency and fundamentals..." That's Lamar Jackson... yet I don't see anyone banging the table to put him in the top 10. R-word.

Hey Lith. What an impressive offensive backfield the Bulldogs have. Fromm is really good. Michel and Chubb are some frickin duo. Congrats on the win. Thanks. Just got back from Pasadena early this AM. What an amazing game and an awesome experience. The venue, the setting, the game itself, so much at stake and an incredible double OT win for my team. Not sure I could have asked for more out of a sporting event. What made it a little sweeter was the drunken loudmouth Oklahoma fans sitting in back of us -- were celebrating as if it was over in the first half. Boy, their silence was sweet in the 2nd half and in OT. And traveling for the Dawgs sure beats traveling for the Jets -- also proves that my teams can actually win games when I show up to see them live. As to the GA backfield, I would be happy with Chubb, but Michel is the guy I really want. Elite vision, burst, explosiveness, hands -- a complete 3-down block at the next level With my son after the game: Pretty cool man. Good for you and i'm jealous. To be a part of something like that for a team you love - with family?... that's about as good as it gets in life. Good luck to the dawgs next week. Gonna be a banger'
