First ever trade between Belichek and the Jets. Until today, the Jets were the only team Pats havent traded with since Beli took over. Wonder if FF can tell us how he looked in camp? Did they cut and then resign him when their rookie WR went on IR? He's got to be better, at least on offense, as a top four WR than Bellamy and Berrios, who are primarily ST guys, and Gase and Thomas were in Denver together. He looked good, NOT fast but excellent route runner, good hands, dependable. Kind of surprised, Brady liked him. He's a big dude, and used to be good, on Denver. No wheels anymore Im sure due to the achilles injuries, but as an X, big receiver in 4 receiver sets, and in the red zone, he could be pretty decent. Especially when we go for it on 4th having no kicker. Hopefully by week 5, Herndon, Thomas, Enunwa, that gives them three big targets in the red zone.

Guy was inactive week 1 for the pats? He must be really good, then. Traded for another 2nd string WR to fit right in with the Jets WR corps of second stringers. Makes sense. Sure, a 6th rd pic- who gives a fuck. But the point remains - this guy is no savior. I hear Atlanta wanted too much for Julio Jones.

If we can get the Denver Thomas before all the injuries, this is great pick up, but i fear he is done

How do you get hurt doing nothing?

How do you get hurt doing nothing? Remember when Yankee legend Carl Pavano lacerated his spleen while shoveling snow or when Sammy Sosa pulled a back ligament while sneezing? I'm sure Quincy tweaked his neck while rocking out to Drake's latest fresh beats.

As someone who's thrown their back out, I know from experience it can go out again from just about nothing. Id imagine the neck is the same way.
Wish him a full recovery, but yeah, he's done. Or he should be if he wants to have any kind of life after football.

How do you get hurt doing nothing?
Maybe we should ask the DNC Candidates?
