That thing went up in seconds. What was the carbon footprint of that fire?

They waste so much money on bullshit out there why don't they just build a desalination plant? Or do the Dims just like the control?

Same reason they mandate everyone have an electric car but refuse nuclear and then tell everyone to NOT charge their cars because the grid can't handle it. They are morons. That is my biggest issue with climate change. No one is proposing anything that will actually make a difference so what are the extra taxes going towards?

I'm not an engineer but it seems like it would be pretty easy to build a pipeline from a part of the country that gets excess rain to fill up this lake. Problem solved. The excess water just runs into the ocean anyway. Why would this not be logistically doable? One pipe is all it would take.

But what about the yellow bellied spotted salamander that might live near where the pipeline would go or maybe it would pass through an indian reservation! It isn't an engineering issue as much as a political/environmental issue.

I think the problem is you'd have to have a huge collection point to pump it from. I don't know why the government doesn't build a few desalination plants and pump water into Lake Mead and the Ogallala aquifer. Crops dying because of drought is just stupid.

Private industry should do it. It would be done cheaper, better and faster.
