I think the problem is you'd have to have a huge collection point to pump it from. I don't know why the government doesn't build a few desalination plants and pump water into Lake Mead and the Ogallala aquifer. Crops dying because of drought is just stupid. Why government? Private industry should do it. It would be done cheaper, better and faster. Paging Mr. Musk..... Mr. Elon Musk.
