I love Frank Reich and am bored by the Mahomes adulation.
Well fought victory.
(its little thing like this that keep me watching this shit.)

(its little thing like this that keep me watching this shit.) Was thinking the same thing. That's what a great o-line looks like - made Brisset into 2X the QB he is. And innovative offense. FFS - when are we ever going to have that here? There has to be some INCEPTION-level voodoo going on with HCs of the NYJ - it's like Groundhog Day, day after day after day after day ....

I watched some of the game and after watching a few series be each team I couldn't help but think how terrible the Jets really are.

Wish I had put $ down on the Colts over whatever the win total was when Luck retired. There is a lot to like about this team.
If the Jets took Watson or Mahomes they could have kept their 2nd round pick and taken Quentin Nelson.
But that would never happen becuase Macagnan would have taken some POS DL.

Do you really think the Jets coaches would have used them properly? hey Mahomes stay in the friggin pocket!

This is how you know Gase is dogshit. Our second year QB goes down with mono and the team cant function. Colts lose their All Pro, face of the franchise in a stunning retirement late in the preseason and the team is over-achieving.

Not defending Gase in saying this, but the Colts OL and skill positions are significantly better than the Jets, save Bell of course.

Gase was handed an OL that really is a shitshow of epic proportions. What do you have if you've got no OL?

Jets are now playing a 3rd stringer who isn't much more than practice squad material. Not a good comparison.

this would be an improvement, as it offers *some* resistance:

As was said up top, Frank Reich is a compelling figure; he had his team tuned in to a big win. He even had a two-score lead in crunch time. How sweet is that, against all that KC firepower.

Gase is being forced to play guys who wouldnt even be on other team's rosters let alone starters. I remember being critical of our lack of offense under Rex and Shotty. Now those look like the glory days.

I like Mahomes a lot but the league seems hell-bent on making me root against him with all the smoke they blow up his ass.

Schotty giving RWil lots of looks up there; without Rex's inout he looks like a capable OC
