There's talk that he's thinking of coming out for the draft... If so where does he get drafted? Only a Sophomore, and still a bit raw... But 6'5", 250... Huge arm, good athlete, very calm demeanor, nothing seems to big for this kid.
His ceiling may be higher than both Mariota and Winston...
2nd Round?

Saw that, he's only started three games but he will likely have to go back as a back up if he stays at OSU. The consensus is despite his lack of game experience he should enter the draft as his stock will never be higher. He was a lazy immature kid but apparently he has transformed into a model citizen. He is also a dad now so there is that responsibility he has to consider, he wants to finish his degree but he has to provide for his kid.
I think the sixth pick of the second round is too high for him - starting just three college games ... he will be over drafted, someone will likely pick him in the second if he enters the draft. If still available in the third round for the Jets, is where I would pull the trigger and sit him on the bench for a year or two unless G Nope shits the bed in training camp.

No way he is a second round pick right now. He has played great in these 3 games, but he wasn't asked to do a lot to win these games. They gave him simple reads and calls and didn't ask him to make a ton of decisions. His RB ran for 700 yards and 8 TDs in the 3 games he started. The big take away is that Ezekiel Elliot is a damn good RB and Urban Meyer is a GREAT football coach.

He ran when he needed to, but also showed an Iron will to keep his eyes up... that's something you either have or don't. He'd be a great 3rd round pick to develop throughout 2015-2016

smart, despite the risk his stock might never be higher. Guess he believes in himself, which in itself is a good thing. Somebody in the program is transferring or declaring. No way all 3 are back.

There was word that Miller could transfer since Barrett's upside and remaing eligibility is better than Millers. If I am Jones I transfer to an FCS school so I can play right away and put up some gaudy numbers and declare next year.

What about Youngstown State as a possible landing spot? He wouldn't have to play far from his family and he'd be playing for a former Power 5 head coach in Bo Pelini.
