Sounds like they removed much of the cocaine from the equation and suddenly it wasnt so difficult to act like adults. (Guessing more Chris than the other brother) . Always loved their sound.

Im sure they are doing it for the money, but i bet tensions will rise at some point. Saw them a few times in the 90's, always preferred the Allman's, but also thought they would carry that torch, i mean cocaine helped Greg and Dickie get along right??!!

I was right in front of the stage @ the Bowery Ballroom for their surprise show last night.
Tickets were only available at the box office and I made an insane dash to get there from Long Island. I got one of the last 25 tickets.

Just looked it up - June 23, 1990 at Lake Compounce in Bristol CT. Besides drunk and stoned, I think I was fucked up on mescaline too.

I got one of the last 25 tickets. Not gonna give a review there, Big C ? ? ? I’ve been a Crowes fan since the earliy days. So I was none too happy when I heard that it was just the Robinson brothers. That said, I was still going to go. I got got a text Monday at noon saying tix had just gone on sale. I was in Farmingdale, so I shot home, grabbed a few things and headed to the train. It took me until 1:45 to get there. I had a friend on line and she told me it was one ticket per person. That helped because a lot of people went there thinking they could get more than one.I got one of the last 25 seats. I was front and center for the show. It was just 11 song. They played Shake Your Money Maker and then It’s Only Rock N Roll as an encore. Chris was in great voice and Rich is a great guitarist. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves. The rest of the band was guitarist Isaiah Mitchell (from Earthless), Tim Lefebvre onbass (formerly from Tedeschi Trucks Band) and Once & Future Band mem bers Joel Robinow on keyboards and drummer Raj Ojha. The band was good but they’ve only been together for a few weeks and they weren’t as tight as the real Crowes would be. But all in all, it was a good show and I had a great time.
