I learnt "La Villa Strangiata" to get to play with a really great rock drummer. What I really learned was the distance between me and gods like Neil Peart, Liefson and Geddy Lee.
Why was Tom Sawyer the big hit? So many wicked tunes.

The drummer in my HS band turned me on to RUSH. We played Bastille Day, Anthem, 2112, and then Hemispheres came out and I was blown away. the bass lines in Circumstances, so crisp, dare I say basic but so complex. Very devastating. So under rated was Alex. I had wine with him and. A few others in 2012 here in Charlotte. Humble as they come. I never tried to think about Neil, you could simply see and hear the perfection. RIP Professor.

RIP Professor. I saw them at the Palladium too. I'm pretty sure they were already crowned as the loudest rock band and then they packed all their equipment in a 5000 seat arena. It's a wonder that everone that saw those shows isn't deaf.

It's not you it's me.
Back in the day this kid that loved Rush always put his entire Fist in his mouth. Never seen anything like it.
Made me hate Rush. Hate. Sorry again.
But Rush Sucks.
