there are now 3 and 4 year old kids that have literally never played with another kid, because of their covid-neurotic parents think about that Sad, but true. I'm sure they'll be well adjusted when they grow up.....not

I am touring Texas and I am shocked at the number of people still wearing masks. Especially the ones walking into a bar with a mask on to sit at a full bar who put it back on to walk to the bathroom. Thought Texas would be better. where in texas? austin is basically san francisco Started in San Antonio and it was really nice. People weren't wearing masks for the most part but maybe 15-20% were. Saw some great houses and met some really nice people in San Antonio. Then drove to Austin and being the liberal shithole it is at least 50% were wearing masks and one store we considered going into required masks so we said fuck them. We actually left Austin a day early to check out Waco. Just got to Waco an hour ago and so far so good, we will see. Tomorrow we are going to a town west of Dallas and finishing the week in the Ft Worth area. Of course a few days before we flew here I saw a house I love in Panama City, FL. Sold in 4 days. Right now we are going to areas we would consider to see if we could live there. Next trip is Florida panhandle and southern Georgia. Then Tennessee after that and maybe NC though we have been through NC a lot and think we would like it there. We want some land 1+ acres but really want about 4 with a large barn type building for woodworking and crafts plus a nice house. We don't want to be in a city but we also don't want to drive forever to get groceries or anything.

Thought Texas would be better. Sounds odd but TX is a huge state that the dims are hellbent on turning blue. I was in FL last month and almost nobody had a mask on, it was great. Here one state over from TX in NM almost everyone has a mask on not only indoors but also outdoors although we have had an indoor mask mandate for almost two years now. I never wear a mask unless I go into a govt building or Dr. office....nobody enforces it out here. Honestly that is how it is where I live in NJ. So I was surprised that stores said no entry without masks though it was in Austin.

Number two, they have those signs on every business out here in NM but almost no one enforces it. Although I did say almost. It's also more than likely that the businesses are mandated to post it. This is how a recent visit to my local liquor store went. Clerk: You have to wear a mask Me: Are you going to sell me a 12 pack if I don't put on a mask Clerk: You gotta put it on bro Me: No fucking thanks as I proceeded to walk out Fuck them, almost nobody is enforcing it and if they do I'll take my business elsewhere.

My pal retired to Austin about 15 years ago and basically raised his kids there. Thought it would be his forever home. He is now packing up and looking at South Carolina. I like South Carolina but the amount of New Yorkers heading down scares me. Plus housing prices are stuupid there now. I love Tennessee but the wife wants quick beach access. Its all up in the air but when the dopne graduates HS in two years I'll have to make serious decisions.

I developed tinnitus (ringing in ears) last Tuesday and it's still with me. Absolutely maddening. Cleveland Clinic says 14.8% of people who test positive get it. My cousin had it over Christmas and said it took him over a month for it to go away. Uggggghh.

I only ask because the recent studies coming out are painting this picture.

Seems like a month would be too long for initial side effects to take place. Now jab plus positive test? No idea.

Happened to us in a wine bar. Absolutely packed… no one wearing masks at their tables but GF and i looking for a bottle. Girl called over , please put a mask on if not in your seat. We left. I google reviewed them and trip sad or as a poor place for conservatives to go. Fuck them.

I'm not suggesting that the vax causes positive cases, only that it is leading to increased positivity rates not only related to it's ineffectiveness against whatever they call the newest variant but that it is reducing the natural immune response people would normally have if they never got one jab. When one looks at the vax rate compared to positive infections over several countries the results are astounding.
