This is the very definition of a global problem and not an American one. You should judge Trump on how things are 6 months from now. And to think it would have been any different with a Dem president doesn't make sense. FWIW - the excesses that unleashed in 2001 were happily bubbled up under Clinton for 8 years. Not that he could have done anything about it. But it was Clinton who helped China accede to the WTO with no pre-conditions - you can see how well that has worked out for the man on the street. And it was also Clinton who cut the tax incentives that had kept our medical supply chain largely in Puerto Rico for decades. Since that industry decamped to China and India in 1996-97, the island has been in a permanent recession. |

Shaking hands etc. BUT last nights speech was needed, now people are panicking. Had we done the travel bans a month ago like he asked for, it would still be a shit show. This is happening and he has handled it fairly OK. The best Dr's etc.. are working on it. What more would you like him to do? Wait til the world realizes we can't pay our debt becasue wespend like drunken sailors and 50 percent of Americans pay no tax and rely on the liberal handouts. |
