Have no idea who the dude is. Wouldn’t say it’s better than the original, but he gets an A. I love how at the start people are walking by like meh, another crappy college band, not knowing what they’re seeing. Then about the halfway point people like damn they’re actually pretty good! Yeah, I woulda kept walkin. After watchin some of this, i wouldn't have felt like I missed anything. Not my cup of tea. |

Van Halen was good in both incarnations although the original was better.
But DLR is now a total fucking embarrassment. He can’t sing for shit. I mean, he never had a great voice but now it’s fucking awful. He can’t sing at all. Plus now he act’s like a friggin asshole. I used to think he was awesome and now I can’t even stand seeing him. DLR is officially an embarrassing asshole.
Sammy on the other hand can still sing and he’s still cool.

I know this will piss people off. Honestly, I only heard Warren's version today for the first time and it blew me away.
For whatever reason, Van's version is good, but I never had this reaction to it. Guess I like the simplicity of it.
