I don't know what made me google "ny jets hampur" at 11:30 on Friday night. Maybe I'm just delirious from being quarantined with two toddlers for 8 weeks. But I stumbled on here and this... this... is the first thread that I read. I'm truly saddened. The PK that I remember, back in the old days of JI, was a riot. He was unabashedly his own dude who played by his own rules, and was absolutely genuine in all of his interactions (probably a lesson I could have taken to heart back then). I couldn't find or remember what username or password I still had active on here, so I just created this one, to post this. Good to see some familiar faces. Is this the first Hampur wake?
Anyway, my sincere condolences go out to PK's family. I see there was a fundraiser thread that I missed. I would have liked to kick in a few bucks but I'm glad there was a strong showing. This is the kind of shit I worry about with this quarantine. The economic recession is going to be bad, but the long coattails of mental distress will be long for many people. Stay safe out there guys. Take the virus seriously but take care of yourselves and your loved ones first and foremost.
