I don't know what made me google "ny jets hampur" at 11:30 on Friday night. Maybe I'm just delirious from being quarantined with two toddlers for 8 weeks. But I stumbled on here and this... this... is the first thread that I read. I'm truly saddened. The PK that I remember, back in the old days of JI, was a riot. He was unabashedly his own dude who played by his own rules, and was absolutely genuine in all of his interactions (probably a lesson I could have taken to heart back then). I couldn't find or remember what username or password I still had active on here, so I just created this one, to post this. Good to see some familiar faces. Is this the first Hampur wake? Anyway, my sincere condolences go out to PK's family. I see there was a fundraiser thread that I missed. I would have liked to kick in a few bucks but I'm glad there was a strong showing. This is the kind of shit I worry about with this quarantine. The economic recession is going to be bad, but the long coattails of mental distress will be long for many people. Stay safe out there guys. Take the virus seriously but take care of yourselves and your loved ones first and foremost. From the old JI days..... welcome!!! |

PK died...no one listens to my new music thread anymore...Rags comes by once in a while to tell us this place is shutting down then something happens in the last moment to save us here...It's really exhausting...Trump is the Prez... jets still suck otherwise not too much... how's bout you... |

Lately? Not much. Wifne and I had the Covid, my mother in law and dog got mauled by a runaway dog, and my washing machine just gave up the ghost. Other than that, I'm good. |
