First saw him on Fernwood Tonight many years ago, last on Modern Family. Guy was amazing.
This with Jerry Stiller is a tough double shot.
No disrespect to Phyllis George.

Very funny guy. I remember him from Fernwood also, though I never quite got the humor back then (70's?) Was shocked to hear how old he was. He did so much great work in the later part of his career (as did many of the former SCTV alum he often starred with). For this reason really RIHSB.

Very funny guy. I remember him from Fernwood also, though I never quite got the humor back then (70's?) Was shocked to hear how old he was. He did so much great work in the later part of his career (as did many of the former SCTV alum he often starred with). For this reason really RIHSB. Fernwood just seemed so different and odd that I knew they must be on to something.

Kind of like me a generation later. (I'm not handing that off to you common)

Fernwood and Mary Hartman were just surreal comedies. You had to watch them over and over to get the nuances to the jokes. They still stand up today.
