Was so identified with Eddie, he couldnt find more work as an actor. Became an LAPD motorcycle cop. He was actually shot in the vest and stomach during one incident with a robbery suspect. Much props in hsb.

He was denied a disability pension of about $1600/mo by an LAPD review board for PTSD. He was allegedly bitter when he separated from LAPD with its policies and treatment of officers. His acting career rebounded a little in a remake of the New Leave It To Beaver and a few other acting gigs. One of the things which allegedly happened to him was an unfounded reported to LAPD he was doing porn movies under the name John Holmes and called in over it. Also, he got into some trouble bagging his Sargent's office to find a IAD complaint against him. All reports indicate he was a good husband and father.....Mrs. Cleaver.
