Great read. Thanks for posting. Interesting. But its much simpler than that. Unions, relationships with prosecutors and in the cases where there are charges there is over charging. Then you have juries that have shown a general wariness of convicting cops.

Paul Sperry (@paulsperry_) Tweeted: DEVELOPING: Believe it or not,but the MPD manual for use of force actually allows cops to use their knee or elbow to apply pressure to the carotid artery of a suspect violently resisting arrest until they are "unconscious." Cops like Chauvin r actually TRAINED to do this to perps

I also did not see him resisting in the short video I saw of the interaction.

Just start screaming "STOP RESISTING" at top of lungs until the murder is completed.

Until then, you’re just some jackfuck on twitter spewing nonsense like everyone else there.

As with all of these cases the defense will have a "use of force expert" witness. We shall see. btw Sperry has broken a lot of stories on the twatters. Hes not your usual nutjob throwing shit at the wall. www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/policy/mpdpolicy_5-300_5-300i.imgur.com/i34sAj7.png

Was he drugged up and had an elevated heart rate? They were waiting for an ambulance instead of throwing him in a car and getting him out of there (which I would have done with a crowd gathering) Again, not defending what was an obviously raw vid..but these things are always more complicated than they appear which is why I tend to wait before coming to conclusions.

From what I gather the autopsy said there is no sign of traumatic asphyxiation. People are arguing that you can be asphyxiated without tissue damage. This is known as a blood choke or restriction of blood flow. That may be an important distinction. If I was the family I would have already had a third-party autopsy done by a top forensic doctor. You would think one of the attorneys begging them for this case would have gotten them one by now. I am not defending what the cop did either. I think it was despicable. The cuffs were on and he wasnt going anywhere. I am interested in how these details will play out in a criminal trial. I have watched a lot of these trials closely and have learned a few things. And if they find someone that will tell the jury these officers were trained to restrain with a knee to the neck, even after the person is cuffed, then these past few days have been block party compared to whats coming.

I think I saw the family hired Dr Michael Baden. If that move is still being taught an attorney would jump all over it. He might beat the murder charge. Was he charged with excessive use of force? That might stick.

Manslaughter in Minnesota carries a sentence of probation to 25 years. Let’s see this fuck get off on the murder 3 charge, and receive a probation sentence. You will then see cities going up in flames.

My guess is he is doing big time one way or another.
